2-3% is a pretty big difference though

Anyway, I don't know why people are eager to look what it is elsewhere.. We just need to worry about ours, and at the minute, it's running away with itself, and it doesn't look like the Government are doing much about it....I know we're waiting for a new PM and cabinet, but there are people already being paid for those roles, and they're nowhere to be seen, which is very poor IMO

I'd be worried if the rest of the world wasn't suffering the same issue. Yes it's higher here now, but it wasn't so long ago- does that therefore not mean we were managing it better then?

Point scoring charts can be made to show all sorts.

As for interest rates, governments here don't set them. A decision that was made some time ago and has been kept by by successive Parliaments.

Been a lot of criticism of the mpc for not raising rates earlier, and also the bank for too much quantitative easing previously.

Chuck in accusations that OPEC are deliberately withholding a potential production increase and its a complex and shitty situation. Perversely, I think this latter pont will backfire, as it will hasten the move away from oil.

If he was that useless surely you wouldn’t want him getting involved with anything would you?

Ok then get the next twat in immediately. Why delay it?

Because we don’t know who the next Twat is yet. They’re still trying to sell themselves

I'm surprised you're not a massive fan of Corbyn, with him being "eccentric"

Doing no harm. Don't get some of the objections- so long as the job gets done, no harm in letting her hair down from time to time.

Quite agree.
it’s the fact she 36 and has the energy to do that and run the country the next day I’m jealous of 😁

This is just basic incompetence.

A symptom of a Government just looking to get one over on the media rather than actually govern.

no sound here, but burnham says avanti are in breach of contract with the new timetable

Caught the 6.27 from Manc to London on Wednesday. There were 4, including us, in our carriage. Similar across the rest of the train. Not making judgments, just saying.

Another smirking tory twat spouting the wrong facts.

some junior minister wheeled out this morning - the big wigs all seem to have jossed it

shes supporting, her words - elizabeth truss for pm

anyway

so, you fucking wiff waffing goon, what are the govts latest plans for the cost of living crisis

well, we are giving 150 pounds to disabled people, wiff waff, wiff waff

150 fucking quid - what is that supposed to achieve

at the weekend the business sec said the govt are working on plans to assist further.  what sort of things are being discussed

well, obviously, i cant say

cant say, dont know, or nothing is actually going on as the PM and his deputy have fucked it off?

wiff, waff, wiff waff

to be fair, she stopped short of saying vaccine rollout and ukraine

Looking like.

Truss - PM

Kwartang - Chancellor

Braverman - Home Sec

Cleverly - Foreign Office.

Other jobs touted for Ian Duncan Smith, Rees Mogg but also John Redwood which is surely a joke.

Certainly diverse in one sense but not in an ideological one.
