Not sure what that has to do with Labour to be fair? Or any other flavour of opposition if it was any other way round?

What's your point?

It didn’t go to plan. Not really difficult is it, it’s quite clear to see.

I’ve got no love for Labour but  I really don’t get what those clowns are trying to achieve by demonstrating in there.

Labour not being in power is irrelevant.

Firstly, they aspire to be so, and secondly, they're the official opposition and have expressed agreement with the government's position- and rightly so.

That is bound to make them targets for the same loony protestors on this issue.

On a wider scale there are suggestions that some muslim (councillors iirc) that have or intend to leave the party over the Gaza conflict, may be looking to stand as independent mps in towns where a significant muslim population exists.

So far Starmer has done really well to keep his party together and put a lid on the dissension, however if the conflict lasts for a good while yet then it may become problematic.

Yep great work. Id be getting Burnham in a higher post somewhere asap too.

I detest socialism in all its forms. Having said that, for the good of the country, I very much agree with this. The higher post he gets would be to replace Mr. Beige the postmaster persecutor.

Fucking hell. When the red shite are in power these protestor types will be everywhere. Not too long before the garbage is piling up on the streets again.

Well I don’t think that went according to plan.

Yes Angela, why haven't you ended the war in Israel?

Yes, why not. Crossing and uncrossing her legs for hours would distract both sides. The rough bint.

Sinister slag

The last time Labour was on power we actually had a much better time of it compared to now. Things actually worked. Not that you would know as you were on the other side of the planet.

You dick. Do you realise how many family members and friends I have there with whom I regularly converse?

There is no such fucking thing as a 'better time under Labour'. They fool dumb fuckers over and over again whilst feathering their nests by stealth. Conservatives look you in the eye and tell you they're going top do it (if they need to). I know which I prefer.

So do these family members think things are better or worse now than 20 years ago? I mean in terms of things the Gov are responsible for.

‘Friends’ was a typo

They yearn for a strong Conservative government with conservative values and, as has always been the case, are apprehensive about an incoming red government.

It will only be one term.

If they only get one term the Labour Party might as well give it up as a bad job…. After the last 5 years they’ll have to fail miserably to not secure a second term.

This whole idea of banning disposable vapes

Now I don't smoke or use them

But isn't the answer crack down on shops selling them to kids?

They not legal to buy like cigs and booze for kids, just enforce the law

I get what you say but I think the positives outweigh the negatives IMO.

Too many kids vaping that would never touch a cigarette.

Doubt the majority of kids who use them are getting them over the counter at their local shop.

Ban the disposable ones.

Not just the kids issue, but a significant environmental one too.

Positives do outweigh the negatives.

As said before though, the smoking ban is well intentioned but completely ill-conceived.

Absolutely crackers.

I doubt the parents give a shit
