If you're suggesting online then they'll just get the other type

I doubt the parents give a shit

I'm not. I'm suggesting they're getting them from young adults who buy them for them. The non-disposable types are more expensive so less likely to be bought in bulk for selling on, and usually only available in specialist shops who are far less likely to risk their entire business by selling to kids.

And as TMGJ says, it's also an environmental issue.

So the young adults still buy them

Do you honestly believe kids are going to stop vaping over this?

Where there's a will, there's a way

Have a gander at Paris at the moment.

All isn't rosy.

As you know, I'm very keen on environmental issues, but there has seemingly been a bit of a leap too far, without properly understanding how food is produced.

This is an issue both here and in the EU.

If the disposable ones aren't available, they can't get them.

Of course some will look at the non-disposable ones, but in essence yes, usage will drop.

Will take a while, but it will.

I mean young adults who are old enough to legally buy them.

No, of course it won't stop it outright, but it will make it more difficult.

There'll be plenty places turning a blind eye

Like under age drinking

Shops/pubs could lose their business over it but still happens

And buying knives

If folk want it, they'll get it

So we should make these things easier to access because it's going to happen anyway?

It’s either the right or wrong thing to wind down farming, I don’t know.

But, if you want to take people with you, communication is key.

Those in charge don’t seem to be bothered to explain.

Not saying that

I just don't know what difference it makes in the grand scheme of things

And shops will lose a significant amount of income

So may be tempted to sell to whoever

It will make it more difficult for kids to get hold of vapes. It will also massively reduce plastic waste. It's not rocket science.

Read the rest of the post

We have a law that says drinking under 18 is not allowed

How's that working with stopping under age drinking?

It makes it more difficult for under 18s to obtain alcohol. Fuck me.

Why bother having any laws at all? People will just break them anyway. 🤦‍♂️

I fail to see how it could ever be the right thing

You only need to see the contribution it’s making to the grid these days to know it’s the way forward.

How's the ban on killing people with knives going?

Deary me. You're basically saying "Why bother having laws if people are going to break them?"

This won't wor

It's partly down to those who should know better in pubs and shops don't care

They just want the money
