He's obviously at the more extreme side of the issue but there's a real lack of career paths in industry or trades in this country without a doubt.

There does seem to have been a swing back towards apprenticeships and the like in recent years

Obviously we will never know, but I would be amazed if the GB News lot would have supported Corbyn. Goes back to the 'who' said rather than 'what' said.

No. I’ve said previously that Putin would invade anyway. I haven’t said he’s right but I understand why he said it. I also said his views are consistent with many other politicians and it isn’t as extreme as is being made out. I also pointed out what he actually said as opposed to the BBC headline.

They all debunked it. (Putin keeps bringing it up though) The point was the discussions about expansion started then and we are where we are now. 

Russia invaded a sovereign nation because they wanted the land and its people.

But its reductionist to say go to Uni if you are only going inot Law, Medicine, Engineering etc without Art School we wouldn't have had much of the popular music we love today. The creative industires brings in millions for the country (and yes, I also realise money generated isn't the only measure of a job's value - although some like to claim it is)

Basically no more English graduates, so that's the media and educated journalism buggered - mind you good for politician's who don't wish to be too scrutinised.

Its a case of - fine if you are middle class, but working class kids should have avenue's closed off to them and only go into trades. Mind you, this sort of stuff is catnip to some.

Interestingly in Tonbridge yesterday at a football tournement for my daugther (came third, lost on pens to get to the final) saw two Reform folks handing out leaflets etc Certainly not a bunch of spring chickens.

They wouldn't have supported him or his politics, but they'd have agreed with his point on NATO

I would class it as an extreme view by British political standards when you look at who his bedfellows sharing that view are.

The thing is we all know he’s trying to copy the Trump playbook here but I’m surprised he’s not been smart enough to junk the parts that clearly wouldn’t work.

You’d have to ask him, maybe the money wasn’t as good when he was a youngster. I’d certainly encourage youngsters to get a trade.
