Why should education be state funded for people like you - who can clearly afford to privately educate their kids - by people who don't even have kids?

Loads of that going on round here with the Grammar School, and today we got an end of term letter, the girl's school mine go to get £5,125 per pupil which is the lowest in the city apparently.

Yep.. you’re a bit thick. 🤣

In other words - you've seen the hypocrisy of your stance, and are choosing to ignore the question because you gained from it, just like the people you're denigrating.

No - its not means-tested.

Thats odd. I’ve got 2 kids and I’ve never had child benefit.

Edit: I’ve asked the wife and apparently we’ve waived it.

I never said it was, I’d love to know what they’re contributing. I’m guessing next to fuck all, all whilst receiving handouts

I really do think some people in this thread need to get down the Johnny Fow, Moor Nook, Mere Side or any other rough arse council estate and have a look where your tax money is going and think about what Mounts is saying.

Having kid after kid and being on benefits is a full blown career.

We all pay our taxes and we all use the system.

But there's people who abuse that system.

Aye. I'm looking up saying stop giving folk bags of cash for fuck all.

The only people getting bags of cash are people who don't need it. Would you swap places with any of the people you know that are living on benefits? I fucking wouldn't.

No because I have morals. And you do too. This is where the welfare state falls flat on its face.

We are a generation or two in to people not having to work. It's that mad in some cases people lose money by working.

A mum of 3 living on her own earns more money not working by working or doing over 16 hours a week.

The country is awash with it.

They all have nice flat screen tellies, couple of dogs, all the latest clobber, house paid for, on the PIP, carers allowance, mobility cars etc.

There's loads that need it but by christ there's millions that don't.

I've been working in central Blackpool/North Shore for 25 years. Same streets, same people, same families. All happy as Larry in their little world. Barely any work.

That's why there was a big giant void left when all the Polish fucked off. And that's why the Polish came in the first place, because there was so much work.

Your anger is misplaced. Doesn't matter what I say, you'll be pissed off at the people you're told to be pissed off at - the dregs of society, because they're what you see. Meanwhile, the richest get richer, and you pay through the nose to make it so, whilst blaming the lazy cunt wearing Ugg boots outside your local Co-Op.

I'm not pissed off at them. I'm just saying how it is.

It's the monster our government has created.

You were the one ignoring what Mounts was saying and bringing up normal working people using state schools.

You wouldn't know real life if it bit you on the arse.

Ask yourself... if your house is paid for, your two kids are paid for, your bills are covered, you have food in the fridge, enough for a some ale and fags. You fancy another kid?

What's stopping you?

Both me and my wife work full time. Not a chance on earth we could afford another kid now. Not without some serious cut backs anyway.

Yeah as I say I wasn't looking but the CSA says it makes the payments easier as it proves she is actually living with me and their system talks to that one

To be fair Cheese was just using an apagogical arguement (How's that for you Bolty you sneaky peak peakster?) to show how silly his position is in reality.
