It's partially true. Some orthodox Jewish women do. Some cut it really short. Some wear hats or scarves that cover their hair. It very much comes down to which community they're from. Hasidic Jews are the most likely to do the head shaving thing.

Maybe you need to read back a page or two. The discussion was about Burkas, and someone else introduced Jews.
