So long as folk don't see Reform as the answer to the problems this country faces then I'm happy to think it could be worse

You think it's the fucking Greens!

We need that dick from Restore to stand candidates in every constituency. That’ll really confuse the dipsticks.

You do seem confused.

If we base it on polls, which I wonder how many of us have taken part in, then maybe

If we base it on election results or being found guilty of breaking the law then you get a different result

Given the kerfuffle over Angela Rayner's underpaid stamp duty I assume Dicky Tice of Reform will be suitably stepping back following his £600k tax avoidance?

There's a difference between avoidance and evasion.

Rayner has formed an unlikely double act with Michael Gove giving testimony this week to Parliament trying to reform leasehold in the UK.

Basically going to be another Leave campaign running up to the Locals isn't it, with all the bullshit, bluster and obviously false promises? The mugs will still fall for it though.

Reform UK has suspended one of its candidates for May's Holyrood election less than a day after they were announced.

Questions had been raised about Dundee City West candidate Stuart Niven, after newspapers reported that he was disqualified as a company director.

The party said had been suspended pending an investigation into allegations around his financial conduct.

They'll be coming down the road, apparently

And then they walked out.
Farage questions Starmers judgement. Starmer questions Farages judgement and they storm out.

Starmer certainly avoids the question, and I think we'd all like to here some sort of answer, the one thing he is right about though is that it's almost impossible to take anything Farage says seriously these days.

With regards to this "stop the boats" bollocks, I'd much rather somebody said "We can't stop them, they'll just keep coming"  - as that's the long and short of it, they'll never ever be stopped.

"Unless we rejoin the EU we won't adequately be able to stop the boats" is and should be the standard response

That would be a bigger lie than smashing the gangs.

Regardless of who’s asking the question, it’s one the definitely deserves some kind of answer, not some stuttering whataboutery

Australia isn't in the EU.

Greece and Italy made strides towards it, and they are.

If ever there was a bag of bollocks reasoning that's it, and such a response would be even greater folly.

For the simple point, that if EU nations think so little of human trafficking that they happily pass it on, then the EU isn't worth a jot.

Thankfully, the French haven't been quite so indifferent, and have said openly, that they wish the UK would be tougher, so as to help reduce the invasion into their nation too.

No doubt such information was ignored when suggesting the standard response.

The solutions are readily available, but the political will isn't.

Thankfully that will change fairly soon.

Whether folk agree with his stance (from a moral perspective) so long as it's within the law, it's legitimate.

Interesting response from him too over his critics' activities.

We all use tax avoidance measures, indeed financial advisers make a living helping us make the most of it.

Starmer did exactly this over with regards to the land he bought "for his mum and dad to use". Been talked about on here.

Where is the line drawn between folk minimising their income tax for their own benefit, and ripping of the tax man?

Is it a monetary value, the individual concerned, or the political leaning of folk?
