didnt mean kens future

if nobody has a picture of the future (in their mind) why try to force him out?

I agree that a) you can't force an owner out and b) its not necessarily going to give you what you want.

But are we in danger of death by 1000 cuts the longer this drags out? Its clear that the business cannot afford its way and eventually we'll end up in court without a get out of jail card. That will mean an unmanaged and forced admin process - potentially after assets have already been sold off and as a league one club with less potential for any buyer.

Sluffy I won't be doing that because I have a life.

I was only teasing but I wanted to make the point that not everything that is said or done which is intended at the time always happens or is interpreted the way it was meant to be.

I don't doubt you are being truthful in what you say but it is very easy to show that the facts would imply you are not!

I do know Anderson is not a saint in all that he says and does but I'm fairly certain a certain chunk of that deemed to be lies he's made is simply stuff he intended but were overtaken by events, or stuff said as bluster/calling others bluff or simply being interpreted in the wrong way.

Yes a chunk of it is probably not the full truth too but has everyone of us in business always told the complete and honest truth on every occasion?

Even I've held a few things back when I've had to.

Actions have always spoken louder than words and whatever our opinions of KA are he's got a financial basket case of a club a further three years on (including a promotion back to the second level) on basically smoke and mirrors.  Maybe he could only have achieved that by the means that those wanting a demonstration for him to be out of the club are protesting about (to which of course your name is attached)?

Just a thought.

Im struggling with all this Ken out, protests and FGR love in tbh.

As has been alluded to already, what do we do if KA just walks away? that seems to be the point of the protest, to tell him to fuck off, then what? he seems just as keen to find new owners as much as the majority of fans who want him out. Surely he must know now that his big payday from a sale has gone and we are in seemingly big trouble as a club. Doesnt make any sense to want him gone when absolutely no one without a big bucket of cash could do any better.

Kens shithousery seems to be in the main, from what I can see, for the benefit of the club however you think he has gone about it. The club and him just dont seem to have the cash to do what they wanted to do and yes thats shit management and pretty shit decision making for sure, but I remain shocked how many fans have created a special bond with FGR because their chairman said Kens a bit of a c**t. I cant see how KA would be such a knob to agree to pay for Doidge before the EFL payment was due and subsequently think that Vince character is chatting as much shit as we know Ken does.

And that protest, jesus. Who would notice if a few hundred fans walked out after an hour? and it would be ten fans if we were winning at the time. I'm very much for fans showing their unhappiness but there has to be a plan, like a what do they want it to achieve?

Can imagine KA thinking "wtf do you c**ts want me to do"

Even if he has some master plan to flog the reebok to LIDL and belt off with a few mill, which doesn't sound likely, acting like a bellend against Westbrom aint gonna change that.

Fair enough.

I just would like an answer as to what people would replace him with, in a similar vein to the Parky out brigade, who do we replace him with?

I get it is similar to the Parky out debate, the difference being is that you sack a manager there will always be people willing to step in, less so for a business that is losing millions a year and asking someone to take over.

Very true and exactly the point I was getting to :-)

I'd quote you Sluffy but there's too much there. I support it yeah but I'm not speaking for that website or any website.

What is there to support? Serious question, by the way. This is going to make the bed-sheet brigade look like a finely tuned protest group.

Maybe it will but as mentioned before for some it's more about doing something than nothing.

The recurring question of what happens if Ken decides to do one , which is possible given his irrationality at the moment is NEVER addressed by the Anderson out brigade. The mouthpiece that is the ST dont have a plan unless they are keeping it well under wraps so the whole thing is risky ( given Kens equilibrium)

Where are the high value individuals now?

The process of Wigan’s takeover began before even KA had arrived at Bolton. But let’s not let facts get in the way.

I believed the comment was about them in relation to the ST & their famous claim, not Ken

This FGR has made an absolute mug out of BWFC with this blatant PR stunt and the embarrassing thing is the amount of idiots who are lapping it up. Jesus Christ buying t shirts and going to another match? What the actual fuck are these people thinking.

I take the point, but I don't think you're a tool if you say you don't want Ken at the club, unless you personally have a succession plan in place. People have booed the players before without being made to identify which new signings we need to be making. The only person who's job it is to run BWFC is Ken, and if people don't think he's doing a good job (and acting like a bellend to boot) they're entitled to make that clear. Nobody knows what has been going on in regards to the club being sold, who has been or might be interested or what the asking price is/was. It is clear that Ken can barely afford to run it month to month, so the bar for the new owner isn't very high.

That said, they've fucked it with the protest. While there might support for making it clear to Ken that the fans aren't happy, I don't think there's any support for travelling to Horwich on a Monday night and then leaving after an hour. It's a pity we didn't win the FA Cup in the late 80s.
