As for my genuine lefty credentials I went to a march once - dragged along to Manchester by a 'right-on' mate, I never intended to march so spent around half an hour on the square being amused by the marchers...One oldish bloke, an unrepetant commie with flat cap, beard and hammer and sickle banner, tabard etc. was present with a fed-up looking early twenties girl (big coat on so inconclusive...probably his daughter) - anyhow he was open-handedly gesturing toward the clock tower so I got a great shot of this full-on communist wearing hammer and sickle regalia doing a full-on 'Nazi salute' before I decamped to the boozer with another similarly uninvolved acquaintance...

Oh aye, I voted Labour once, the 1997 G.E. - my first and last G.E. vote.

Let's face it, anyone left of Goebbels is automatically in the Wolfie Smith class on here. 😐

Best lay my leftie creds out for show. Was a member of the Labour Party for 12 months, went to one meeting in Crawley, couldn’t stand the in-fighting between the hardline unionites and the New Labour modernisers. Party was tearing itself apart whilst UKIP was gaining support in the area. So didn’t go back.

Left when Brown took over the leadership. Voted Labour until Corbyn. 

That’s pretty much it. Hardly active with the activists.
