waffer cup 07 Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Chuck in Lloyd dyer and Sordell with Bent as well, they’ve got more attacking options than we have. And they are two points behind us in the league. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Bent & Sordell were subs yesterday. Dyer wasn't even in the squad. And they still won. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 And they are two points behind us in the league. Let’s hope come 5pm Saturday night we’re still at least 2 points in front. Quote
bolty58 Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Campanian ecstasy must be rubbing off on me. Burton 1 BWFC 3. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I’ve said for weeks there’s 6 points for us in the last 2 games if we need them. Well we do. 0-1, ALF Quote
Rizlar Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Bent came off the bench and scored and he as 1 hell of a record against us. Quote
Guest Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Sordell to bag the goal to send us down? The ultimate irony Quote

Biggish Dave Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I also said we'd end up in the bottom 3 at some point before scrambling out of it. Gulp! Cutting it a bit fine Quote

DavidLeesMullet Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 (edited) This is a must win game, but considering our away record and their slight renaissance, I don't think we'll get anything from it. But out of sheer desperation (Which this situation needs) I'm going for a 1-1 draw, ALF to bag us an unlikely point. On a cheerier note thought I'd share a quick joke I heard about 'The Spuds'. Have just heard a rumour that Tottenham Hotspur are going to be sponsored by Pfizer, the makers of Viagra next season as they constantly struggle to get past a semi. I'll get me coat!!! marple whites Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Don't forget though, Barnsley have Forest away and Brentford at home this week, so if we draw at Burton, we need Barnsley to get less than 3 points from their 2 games. Quote

Ani Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Something’s not right with the team. It’s not just players not being good enough. There is something wrong. To deny that is mental. The players are shitting themselves and playing with no confidence. Ken’s comment a few weeks ago point to something deeper. I am driving to Burton just do not see it being a fun day out. Quote

Eddie Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 good thing is Barnsley have Brentford and Derby who have just slipped out of play offs If Barnsley win tomorrow it will be so crushing Clinging on to any strand of hope: Forest last 5 home games - 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss Barnsley last 5 away games - 1 draw, 4 losses They’ll lose tomorrow and draw on Saturday (or the other way round). We’ll beat Burton and it will be a massive staying up party. Quote

If we win both we'll stay up for me. No issue. Cannot see Barnsley winning all 3. Stranger things have happened, but I can't see it. Burton are the worry for me, given they're on form and must have thought they were down two weeks ago. I cannot see us winning there, but you just never know.... Quote

Eddie Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Burton on form is quite a stretch Agreed, 2 wins (1 being Sunderland) doesn’t make them in form. We’ve got a worse than shite away record and yet they only have 2 more points at home than we do away. They’ve scored 17 goals in 22 home games, 3 of which were in 1 game. They might have a bit of confidence but as long as we get through the 1st 10-15 minutes, which is easier said than done with our record, then we should be ok. Quote
tomski Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Thought it was on TrentNo it's a posh part of Trent. Quote
