Same shit different day with you   He clearly doesn’t rate any striker we have because they are unable to do the one job HE asks them to do. Win 50 headers a game from punts from the goalkeeper

  • It's a great idea and love the fact loyal fans are getting rewarded with priority.   It might have been a good idea to tell folk this was going to be the plan for games such as this though.

Bent & Sordell were subs yesterday.

Dyer wasn't even in the squad.

And they still won.

And they are two points behind us in the league.

Let’s hope come 5pm Saturday night we’re still at least 2 points in front.

Campanian ecstasy must be rubbing off on me.

Burton 1 BWFC 3.

I’ve said for weeks there’s 6 points for us in the last 2 games if we need them. Well we do. 0-1, ALF

Bent came off the bench and scored and he as 1 hell of a record against us.

Sordell to bag the goal to send us down?

The ultimate irony

Hoping for some decent beer and pubs

It's a bold statement from him. Hope he's right.

I also said we'd end up in the bottom 3 at some point before scrambling out of it. Gulp! Cutting it a bit fine

Relax- that bottom three bit was ages ago. Onwards and upwards now.

This is a must win game, but considering our away record and their slight renaissance, I don't think we'll get anything from it.

But out of sheer desperation (Which this situation needs) I'm going for a 1-1 draw, ALF to bag us an unlikely point.

On a cheerier note thought I'd share a quick joke I heard about 'The Spuds'. Have just heard a rumour that Tottenham Hotspur are going to be sponsored by Pfizer, the makers of Viagra next season as they constantly struggle to get past a semi. I'll get me coat!!!

Don't forget though, Barnsley have Forest away and Brentford at home this week, so if we draw at Burton, we need Barnsley to get less than 3 points from their 2 games.

If we draw at Burton we need to beat Forest. If Barnsley take 6 points from their 3 remaining games...good luck to them...I suspect they won't though.

Something’s not right with the team. It’s not just players not being good enough. There is something wrong. To deny that is mental.

The players are shitting themselves and playing with no confidence.

Ken’s comment a few weeks ago point to something deeper.

I am driving to Burton just do not see it being a fun day out.

good thing is Barnsley have Brentford and Derby who have just slipped out of play offs

If Barnsley win tomorrow it will be so crushing

Clinging on to any strand of hope:

Forest last 5 home games - 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss

Barnsley last 5 away games - 1 draw, 4 losses

They’ll lose tomorrow and draw on Saturday (or the other way round). We’ll beat Burton and it will be a massive staying up party.

I still think its up to us. Barnsley might win tomorrow, but that in a funny way might help us...we'd know we'd need a win at Burton.

If we win both we'll stay up for me. No issue. Cannot see Barnsley winning all 3. Stranger things have happened, but I can't see it.

Burton are the worry for me, given they're on form and must have thought they were down two weeks ago. I cannot see us winning there, but you just never know....

We’ll not know if it is a must win until after Barnsley play

Burton on form is quite a stretch

Thought it was on Trent

Agreed, 2 wins (1 being Sunderland) doesn’t make them in form. We’ve got a worse than shite away record and yet they only have 2 more points at home than we do away. They’ve scored 17 goals in 22 home games, 3 of which were in 1 game.

They might have a bit of confidence but as long as we get through the 1st 10-15 minutes, which is easier said than done with our record, then we should be ok.

Thought it was on Trent

No it's a posh part of Trent.

I am driving to Burton just do not see it being a fun day out.

Ditto because I thought it was near Stoke and its not when you go by train, its just past Narnia.
