No one compared it to spearing did they; though getting shit faced midseason; irrespective of a brief break is hugely different to end of season with months rather than days to recover.

 

What's more; for all we know the lad may be thinking he may have potentially played his last game for the club and was letting his hair down.

For roughly 10 months of the year he can't be booking trains, supping early in Spoons with his mates, travel the country supping and enjoying his weekends based around football 

 

So for me he can do what he wants after that match. Like said above he's almost like a fan who's ended up playing for the club so he can crack on and enjoy himself
