Lee gave me my most memorable coaching moment watching him have his foot our ready to trap a ball except he had it about an inch higher than the ball. Wish noone was 1/2 the player David Lee was.

He'd have mine too, though I thought he'd said the top job wasn't for him. My mistake. Not sure how he'd do, but I imagine the philosophy would be far more positive.
October 25, 20187 yr Not having that David Lee should replace Parky, within a month the same folk be calling for his head, he’s no experience of managing at a proper level and he’d definetely be a downgrade on PP.

October 25, 20187 yr But hey, it's a change And in the minds of folk who oddly forget that things could be worse, There's nowt to lose

No manager can be judged until he's actually managed! That was also true of Parky at one point. I'd back any new manager in fairness.

Constantly sniping. Irrespective of your beliefs others are entitled to disagree. Feel free to contribute to the discussion instead of playing the cock waving superfan. Fwiw things might get worse, but unless there's access to a parallel universe, we'll never know. On balance, many of us feel it's time for a change as it's fucking dire. Simple That said I don't go round calling Parky a cunt etc. That's obviously reserved for Coyle.

Not sure he wants a management position anyway, so might suit if PP was given the elbow. We couldnt be any worse than a group of WW's managing the side; take turns as manager I would pot him now
October 25, 20187 yr I think Parky has earned a bit of breathing space for now but a couple more performances like last night's & I'm afraid he will be toast. It doesn't get much worse than that.
October 25, 20187 yr David Lee could well wind up being a Sammy Lee.The only way to find out would be for a team to give him a shot. Not sure I want it to be here. Parky has had some slack because of the limitations he's had to work under. But that slack is very close to being gone. It's going to take a marked improvement to keep him in a job

Didn't mind the Blackburn loss so much as there were some spells where we played a bit (even my Rovers supporting mate thought we were better than he'd expected), but had no enthusiasm or hope whatsoever walking into that ground last night once I saw that line up I to travel from Rochdale with 4 other ROCHDALE WHITES. Start at 6pm picking up the others, by the time I get home after dropping everybody off it's 11pm. After watching the Whites for nearly 60 years it does make you think why you bother after that performance. Still be there on Saturday, but I to am running out of patience with Phil. Got our first corner on 45 mins on Tuesday, one shot on target. Totally unacceptable for ANY home game no matter who your playing.

October 26, 20187 yr I got home at 6.50 on Wednesday Shower, butty, back on the road It was very tempting not to bother Twas then grimmer than grim, but by fcuk it makes the highs far higher than fair weather fuckers ever experience
October 26, 20187 yr And if i lived in leeds, id not have given a second thought Red button all the way
November 5, 20187 yr I am giving up midweek evening matches . It took me over 3 hours via the M1 M62. Coming home the M62 was shut so I diverted through Huddersfield . So 2.5 hours return journey and at my desk for 8.15 in the morning . Almost 6 hours in a car to watch that appalling football. Rotherham, forest and hull games were just about as poor as we've seen in recent years . When we went 1 down against villa it was game over . I lost interest at 2 nil . That never happens as I am always the most optimistic fan , but midfield is so weak, nil creativity , nil pace , nil goals

I was considering looking into using Forest's official travel to get back from this. Decided I couldn't be arsed.

I once did an FA cup replay at Burnden against Forest . I travelled on a Trent Barton coach full with some Forest fans from work. I ended up directing the coach along St. Peter's Way to avoid traffic . Trevor Francis scored an extra time winner . The coach got bricked by Bolton hooligans. I refuse to use the word fan for somebody who throws bricks at vehicles. Luckily no windows were broken .
