Bolton v Forest

Baffled why the team that finished at Rotherham (or at least most of it) didn't start. It would have suited Little better as a wing back as he cannot defend as a full back. Have to agree that Parky is just changing too much constantly - we need a settled side.

Parky's handling of Doidge has been an absolute disgrace. That lad patently knows where the goals are. For fucks sake build the team to give him service and see how he does. 15 mins here and there, wh

Talk of potting Parky is just mental imo, where did folk expect us to be at this stage of the season? Who can you name that would come in  and suddenly turn us into a decent Championship side?

Especially if you’re kicking off the day before the opposition arrives.

I've read PPs comments about the game and think he must have watched a different game to me.

Last night was of course about coming up against a decent side but we couldn't even do the basics of controlling the ball and for god's sake taking a throw in! We had balls into their box going unchallenged and people with the ball at their feet but no one showing for a pass so we lost possession yet again.

Most of us were surprised when we saw the teamsheet as to what Vela, Wildschutt and Noone had done to justify starting. I said to myself that Parky knows better than me but even I am beginning to wonder!

Hull have lost more than any other team in the league

Be interesting to see how we setup and approach that one

Fail to win that and I wouldnt be arsed if PP got told the fuck off

Change it now before Hull. A breath of fresh air with a temp gaffer. A free shot if you like before someone else comes in.

Nowt to lose.

It just gets soul destroying travelling 30 miles each way (not as far as many I know, but far enough on a midweek night), seeing the team sheet at 7.00 and feeling like I might as well turn the car round and set off back. Didn't mind the Blackburn loss so much as there were some spells where we played a bit (even my Rovers supporting mate thought we were better than he'd expected), but had no enthusiasm or hope whatsoever walking into that ground last night once I saw that line up

Too true. I’m thinking mid week games might be a red button job in the future

If PP truly believes what he said in his post match interview then the problem is bigger than we all think. He’s not dilusional, that’s just the way he sees football and thinks we did ok. Just hit on the break...

I’d rather not watch football ever again than see it the way he does because that was far from ok

Have to agree soon as I saw the team selection I thought it’s game set and match. Pal of mine flew in from Cyprus staying with his girlfriend in Macclesfield drove over paid £50 for 2 tickets to watch that dross, all those travelling distances have my upmost respect.

Main problem as I see it is consistency changing the team every match even if some of the players have had good games, changes formation regularly and if you look at results we never string a few wins together but regularly have losing streaks. I am sure he said that he bought Diodge to play as a 3 with Magennis and Donaldson so why hasn't he done that it's got to be better than bloody Noone Buckly and that useless Wildshutt every week doing nothing as wingers.

I’m hoping some of our loan signings are shown the door ASAP and we try to get better new ones in place. Do we have to wait until the transfer window reopens?

He did say that which surprised me as he said Doidge down middle and the other 2 wide. Must say I’m not fan of Donaldson from what I’ve seen think I’d try Dyer instead as genuine winger not a wingback that is.

I think he could give it a try but doubt he will he keeps persisting with wingers playing on opposite wings and cutting in but it doesn't work with the dross we have.

Every team in this league come to our ground, and outplay us, whether they are 16th or 1st.

I don’t even think that in the 2+ years of Parky as our manager, even in League 1 did we see us pass the ball better than most of our opponents.

We don’t press, we don’t pass, we don’t do the opposite and sit back, but also keep it tight, and make things difficult for opponents.

So what is our game plan? Not good when after the match, Parky within 15 seconds mentions the money Forest have spent. Does that restrict us from passing the ball?

Add to what you say we lack pace all across the pitch. The big concern is Rotherham played us off the pitch and they have a smaller budget than we do.

we did at times in league one when Clough and Ameobi played with vela in an advanced role

not in the championship though

I remember getting the runaround from teams like Chesterfield, Bury and Bristol Rovers at home, that should never have happened to be fair.

Shaky in defence with the exception of the excellent Wheater, completely outplayed in midfield, & toothless upfront.

With only being one down at h/t, the penalty save & the improvement at the start of the 2nd half, I thought we might get away with it, but no complaints at 0-3. I thought Forest were very good but we made it easy for them.

What we learnt....Little is a liability in defence, Magennis looks like a div 1 player & on current form should be behind Donaldson in the pecking order, Williams & Noone can be decent players but are making too many soft mistakes & Wildshutt is hopeless. No team can carry so many underperforming players.

A horrible night !!!

We are a terrible football team. That was completely wank. Why is EVERY other team better on the ball, faster and actually look like that have a fucking clue what they’re doing?

What the fuck do we do in training during the week????

That's what baffles me most. If we were to play Macclesfield next week it'd be a given that they would look more comfortable on the ball than us & it would at least be possible to see what they were trying to do even if they weren't very good at it.

"Get David Lee, Tony Kelly and John McGinley (sic) in, they'll bring back some pride, fight and passion"

Please be being ironic, twitter person.

My 20 year old step daughter, who used to attend regularly till middle of last season but has been living away, came along last night. After about half an hour she just said 'I'm reminded why I got fed up with it, what do they actually do in training?'

Whilst Kelly and sjm wouldn't be right, as an interim, David Lee preparing them for a game or two wouldn't bother me.

Not sure he wants a management position anyway, so might suit if PP was given the elbow.

David Lee has said publicly he’d love the top job.

He’d have my backing.

Its not time to change yet, but 4-5 more shit results and it will be.

There was a moment last night where Noone reminded me of Didsy. He let an easy to control ball roll past him and out of play.

Lee gave me my most memorable coaching moment watching him have his foot our ready to trap a ball except he had it about an inch higher than the ball.
