Funnily enough was in Barcelona over the weekend and spotted that coffee shop but didn’t go in because lad wanted a Burger King which was just across the road. I will give it a whirl next time I see one.

It's a Canadian chain just starting opening branches over here. They're my go to place in Bury for a coffee. Only £1.49 too. They specialise in the filter coffee over the espresso based latte type you get in Starbucks, Costa etc.

Jesus, you may as well have a line :D

was never into latte's, americanos etc and always considered it overpriced nonsense (even though I will happily pay £4-£5 for a can of craft ale and all that)

then I had a flat white from some specialist place in Manchester, was lovely

so now I like flat whites

I find if I have any more coffee after one of them in the morning I feel like I'm having a panic attack all afternoon

got a tassimo which knocks out nice coffee which works out at about 40p a cup, but tend not to bother with owt instant these days, can't go back

Got one of these a couple of years ago -

Its been decent. I just like strong coffee with a little milk and it is excellent at that, but you can also do Lattes, Cappuccinos etc.  Temperature is fine too. Wife drinks de-caf so I buy ground for that as there is a slot for pre-ground.   I think its an old model now - I got it for around £300.  Temperature is fine too.

Also get my beans from these guys every month or so - https://www.pactcoffee.com/

Excellent coffee and easy to use  - just skip an order for a week or two if you don't need any.

Fuckin right on.

Stand your spoon up in the bastard.

Pods are shite, but quick.

Get an espresso machine. Bean to cup are very expensive, but just the standard espresso with steamer is good, £60 +.

I have a Delonghi at home & some boss Italian one at my offcie.

Same as me. Got a decent deLonghi machine at home under £100 warms up in seconds but they're only as good as the coffee you buy. I'm lucky there's a roasting room near me where you can buy their fresh roasted beans. At work a Cimbali or something which is the size of a jukebox and keeps breaking down but coffee is as good as any I've had.

Didn’t know Darryl did coffee.

Best coffee I've ever had was in Vietnam with evaporated milk in it.

Did it have the cream of sumyonghi on the top?

DeLonghi bean to cup with a removable milk container so it goes straight from fridge to machine & back again. The Nespresso is used for the travel mug in the morning when there's no time for faffing.

They do that in Spain it’s cafe bom bom nice but so sweet.

Those little tiny cups of coffee in Toulouse this year, instant boost to your system. Drunk loads of ale afterwards, and could still taste coffee.:D

Everyone should just go to costa coffee

cold coffee to be the next big thing

I had an iced coffee when we went to Crete in September. Fucking hell, I didn't see how much coffee they put in but my heart was pounding like a bass drum. Didn't have another for the rest of the holiday.

Best coffee I've ever tasted. Was addicted to the stuff for about 10p a cup! :)

Did it taste the same when you made it yourself?

Even I’m thinking this is a step too far and I like a nice Camomile of an evening.
