I understood that Dark Horse bought the debt but the shares remained under contract to Moonshift until the debt was settled? If so is calling in the debt which presumably Dark Horse are entitled to do, not the same thing in effect as triggering KA's loss of share ownership to Moonshift at the time the debt is defaulted on?

Ken knows there is no prospect of a legal battle during which the club survives. So what now? Someone either deals with Ken or club goes to wall. Game of chicken. And I seriously hope its a case of nobody blinking.

Burnden Leisure own the shares, ICI own Burnden Leisure.

Surely the terms of the debt and all the legalities of it would go to Dark Horse on their purchase of it from Moonshift just the same as if Moonshift had kept it? p.s. I'm not really a noob, lurked for a long while and decided to finally post

Dr Faustus Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 this is purgatory... if he sticks a challenge in then surely we cant carry on? he'll be picking over the carcass of the club

Sounds like a KA delaying tactic to me. Edited April 1, 2019 by Wigan White pt2
