If He pays it then mystery bidders are out of the picture. however: Bassini can offer mystery bidders money to not take the shares on Wednesday. But they have no proof of said money as yet. If Bassini succeeds in paying mystery bidders then the takeover can get taken to 9th April - liquidator appointment takes 7 days usually. So from 3rd April court date that’s the 10th. bidders would be satisfied (for lack of a better word) to take their offer to delay for a few million but think Bassini won’t be able to show funds. So they get a few million and can still buy the club if Bassini comes up short and if Bassini does get the club then they at least got paid off a few mill. Howard’s implying Bassini is mugging off Dave Richards to give him credibility to get loans to buy the club but not sure how that works as Howard says there’s nothing left to loan against. That or he’s the front man and is backed by a different bidder who has got cash. so all in all Howard is relatively confident things can still go as planned but the mystery bidders are pissed off at the circus that’s been created. probably missed the financial points but I’m sure a more financial head like Chris or sluff can explain that... Don't think there's much I can add at the mo. It seems to be at a crucial point and I don't want to put anything out that hinders or muddies the waters Edited April 1, 2019 by Chris Custodiet

Understandable, however considering how close they are to effectively fucking him off, then why get a bit hot under the collar now? Additionally, if they're frustrated with dealing with cunts, then why even contemplate accepting some money from Bassini etc al? £2m is a lot of dough, fair enough, but if they really are fans (H's lot) then surely they won't be swayed by a comparatively small amount, that could leave still more uncertainty around the club. These were my thoughts while I was pondering the issue this morning. Ok they might not be fans, but surely they’ve got to have an appetite for wanting what is best for the club and the fans which surely is forcing the share take tomorrow and not letting this Bassini group anywhere near this club on the gamble that they won’t be able to raise the funds/pass the necessary tests by the 9th April?
Pricey Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 So if Bassini doesnt come up with the cash today, that leaves KA with just over 24 hours to find a new buyer, assuming there are only 2 currently at the table (Bassini and Howards MB) who then has to go through FFP and DD. No chance in my opinion. Look forward to the announcement tomorrow at 16:30

Not sure them being fans or otherwise matters on this subject. They will have a put a lot of time and effort into this and to risk it in the hope Bassini actually comes up a big chunk of money is probably not what they will want.
WestStandUpper Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I am quite relaxed about this whole scenario now - confident that Bassini wont be able to provide funds today, or prior to the 4.30pm deadline tomorrow, allowing Howard's team to swoop in as that appears to be the main option right now. As Howard says, his team have already done their FPP with the league, and have funds and a plan ready to go to pay of debts and take control of the club. I suppose it's just a waiting game til tomorrow, and then in that time hoping that Bassini doesn't somehow turn up with a chest full of dosh... which seems unlikely.
Burndens Bogs Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I'm sure we were told that, once the Basran deal had fallen through - any prospective buyers would be dealing with the Davies family and not directly with KA?

They can only deal with Davies family when they get the shares back off Ken and if Ken pays Moonshift 5 million, the Davies family are not in control.

Casino Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Moonshift claim the shares Howards men buy them I think
WestStandUpper Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 6 minutes ago, Pricey said: How can Howard's MB claim the shares if they don't own the debt? I'm guessing they will have done a deal in principle with Moonshift to pay for the shares tomorrow once they are reclaimed. They wouldnt have paid in advance as technically they might not get them if Ken does a deal beforehand. It is a guess, maybe @Howardroark can confirm?
Biggish Dave Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 I'm guessing this Bassini crackpot isn't waiting in line at the Yorkshire Building Society waiting to get a CHAPS over to KA right now. He ain't got the money or he'd have done it today already. Roll on 16.30 tomorrow
darrener Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Another thing if the deal is delayed for another week we have two home games in that week, Ipswich and Middlesbrough what happens if staff aren't paid and refuse to work? We could struggle to get the games on. This needs sorting this week IMO.
Mantra Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Pretty mad how the next few days, if not hours, will determine our next 5 years as a club. Kind of worrying. just waiting on H to come on here and say Bassini has flopped. fingers crossed

WestStandUpper Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 i'm fairly sure if H's team take control tomorrow at 5pm then wages, bills and debts all be paid by weekend... They seem the type that would steady the ship instantly. Let's hope they sack the manager just as quick!!!
Howardroark Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Just an update, KA has challenged the validity of the share recall.
