Bulk it up with the kids and spend any money trying to get the best 2/3 players we can, rather than 10 journey men who probably wouldn't be any good if we got promoted. In my opinion we should accept we're going down and start preparing for next season.

You’d be in cloud cuckoo land if you hadn’t accepted that a long time back

As the last 3 seasons have shown, it'sall about who the manager is, the players are secondary as they only get on the pitch if they suit the managers style. Just get rid of parky and start from scratch.

Just thought I would flag up Mr Iles view of forums (this one) and Howard - taken from his live blog.

Question to him - You will no doubt be aware Marc, of the alleged Bahraini consortium looking to recall Ken’s shares via the backdoor from the Moonshift loan. Do you have any info on this? Is it true? & who the mystery forum poster is?

His reply (1;18pm) - Every man and his dog has claimed to be 'getting Ken's shares via the loan agreement' and if you look at the fine print on Companies House, it seems feasible. So why hasn't anyone done it - Bahraini or not?

I haven't got time to scroll through forums. I will talk to people who talk back to me.

Talk about cutting your nose off...

Maybe if had bother to read the thread (or at least the last week or so of it) and Howards details on A&M then he would at least have gained a far more detailed understanding of some of the hurdles involved even if he chose not to believe the narrative or wish to contact H via the message system on here for comment about his knowledge and his client?

Good to know he doesn't waste his precious time chasing down possibly the best lead into what has been happening financially and ownership issue wise, about the club in the last week or so and why.

The rumour goes that British media is under embargo with reporting about Bahraini nationals or something to that effect. That wouldn’t change because someone asked a question on a live blog. Apparently Iles knows full well about Howard’s lot

The response that a few of the staff gave were - he doesn’t care about anything or anyone. He’s using our attachment to the club and our jobs against us. He sees how much we love the club and that is a weakness. Because he knows no matter what he puts us through we will still be here for it. So he doesn’t have to pay us on time because he knows we will all still be here the day after and on match days

So why are they standing for it? They’re all protected by employment law.

Sorry if I'm missing your point here Sluffy. But didn't Howard demonstrate a couple of hundred pages back how KA was washing the £3m through the club using a series of invoices for services, consultation and then factoring these? If this is indeed true, KA has £2.7m of the £3m sat in his own bank account. And the club has been saddled with a £3m debt to a factoring house.

If KA has to pay it back, he could do - out of the money he's washed - which wasn't his in the first place.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over KA having to stump this up if that is the case. And I'm guessing he won't either. But guessing he always clearly wants to get away with it - before some meddling kids get in the way.

They are two completely separate things mate.

What you are talking about is basically selling a DEBT that is owing to you for cash up front (less commission for doing so), then putting the money into the club to pay the bills BUT showing it as a loan from one part of his empire Inner Circle Investments, to another BWFC, so if the club did go bust his company ICI will be seen on the face of it as an outstanding creditor - and thus will get something out of it depending on how solvent/what assets the club has left after Administration or liquidation.

The bit I'm talking about was similar to the loan Eddie gave Anderson to pay off BluMarble except he didn't 'secure' the £3m like he did later for the £5m on Anderson's club ownership shares.  The £3m went straight in to pay the wages (I am led to believe), so on the face of it he has put £3m into the club that he some how needs to pay back if he wants to stop the Dark Horse take over (providing that is still their intent to do so) along with the other £5m for BM.

Since I wrote that though, people far more clued up on such matters (thank you, you know who you are) have suggested that Anderson could possibly have put the £3m in as a Directors Loan, in which case, similar to the later £5m loan to pay off BM, this £3m as well would be secured as a creditor to the club if it fell in to the hands of an Administrator or Liquidator.

I think the bottom line is does Ken fancy his chances if the club ended up being liquidated.  If he does he holds the trump card and presses the self-destruct button before the 14 day notice is up, If he doesn't then he needs to deal with someone before the shares are presumably eventually called in.

You've never lived!

Anyway. A tanned Traf is the spits of bassini. Zico put it on here earlier this week and I've not stopped chucking since!

Traf just gone on holiday. Sky Sports will try to interview him like that fella at Huddersfield.

too obscure otherwise

Dear me we have some serious healing to do from root to branch, could take a generation. So sad.

Good Morning.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Takeover must be completed by Tuesday Evening .

Or it is back to square one.

Ie No one interested in buying.

Howards lot not coming back. ( for what its worth i think Howards a wind up)

If game goes ahead Tuesday.  Less than 7 Thousand on .

My head / heart hurts this morning , not from ale . But the dire situation our club is in.

See ya in the hotel.

We might not have a club to support next season. The manager is a secondary issue  at best.

Not quite that simple is it.

You'd imagine they have strong cases, but it involves determination, potential lengthy procedings, and a truly hideous, slippery individual.

They also may live their job and not want to be forced out.

Because as the post says they all care about the club.

We can not on the one hand talk about important the club is to the town and then on the other expect Elsie and Ethel who work in the catering side not to care.

Imagine they take legal action and is the straw that brakes the camels back and we go bust.

Can’t disagree. I like Wheater and comes over as top lad

I get that Wheater is settled in Bolton but putting sentiment aside and just like Kevin Davies before him, I think the time is right to part company. Holding on to him another season will really show his age catching up with him.

I also get that he's a tower of strength within the squad but hardly needed to be a very sturdy tower.

It’s not a surprise to me,  I think Anderson does not want a deal that is reasonable offer for the club. I’m more certain now that he’ll go for liquidation.

I am reaching the conclusion this takeover will never happen, I don't know what that means despite the different lengthy posts on here, most of which I stopped reading half way through, I feel sad at what's been allowed to happen to our wonderful old football club, nearly all the games this season have been a chore to go and watch and paying over £300 a year for the privilege seems at best lunacy, but this lunatic will still do it all again next season that's if the club is still here

Same here, season tickets will be purchased regardless.

You’ll get there. 😂

I know I'll end up buying another two this summer.  It'll be a lot harder to stump up the cash though if Parkys still there.

I'm out sadly.

Need a complete change for me to consider it. New manager being too priority.

No way am I sitting through the dross again.

He’s only 32, he’d take the piss again in League One.

Get another season out of wheats easy

Sorry to bring this up again but is the Italian fella buying us or not or are Howard's men coming riding in on camels to save the day
