Is in feasible that Bennys post ties in with MancWanderers from Friday.

KA defaulted on the 28th. Shares handed over to Moonshift. "Board" discussions on Friday, board being James, Warburton and Davies representatives.

These guys have buyer(s) lined up and easier to deal with than Ken has been.

Maybe more in hope than expectation on my part but ties a few rumours together

That is wishful thinking! Such an event would surely be disputed in the courts by Ken and take years to resolve.

Shouldn't we be posting about the roughest council estate in Bolton rather than this putting two and two together nonsense?

Sorry Chris. As a keen reader of WWays I should know better.

Just read some posts on twitter from nixon regarding the takeover, he has loads of people on the hook claiming he has a idea of what is going on. He knows no more than we do and Iles knows even less.

It would have been in the paper if Nixon knew anything.

He keeps giving little hints like he knows something but it's obvious he doesn't unfortunately most people are biting and begging him for info. It's quite sad to watch

I've given eight reasons why I suspect Ken got some reward in 2018 out of the Madine deal.  Its not impossible that he's taken fees in 2018/19 but less likely for reasons that I've also provided. I expect his original game plan was to try to make a profit on sale but as time went on there was  an increasing chance of him walking away with a tiny amount whilst Holdsworth took a small fortune. The anti-Anderson ST and BN have kept stum over all this and it still remains unclear just how much Holdsworth cost BWFC.

But we can be absolutely sure that it's millions. Just everyone (including Ken) has neglected to mention it.

He says it’s not to do with the takeover. My guess is he’s got wind that wages definitely won’t be paid tomorrow....

I could have told him that, kens paying nothing till he sells out

I guess the problem is if the deal has collapsed then not paying wages proves a big issue. Will staff walk out?

Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, however I wouldn’t blame staff for walking but I would be a bit pissed off with the first team squad if the decided to strike.

I think if the deal had collapsed we would have heard about it by now, I don't understand why suddenly everyone seems to think it's off, Ken said the dd was taking longer than they thought it would and IMO he was trying to to push them along a bit. Iles said last week he didn't think it would be done by Friday and then when it wasn't done on Friday he said it could be off, make your mind up thumb head

At least if they went on strike next week we wouldn't lose for once

How would we be able to tell?

I'm not the slightest bit surprised that the due diligence took a bit longer than the consortium anticipated. No doubt more than a few things they needed clarification on. Just because of that, no reason to suspect it's off.

In the meantime, I feel really sorry for the rank and file staff, no doubt many of whom on minimum wage, and/or zero hours, and possibly with minimal if any Union support to call upon. Yes, it's not right the players aren't getting paid, they've bills to pay just like anyone else, but those ordinary folk who keep the place running day to day deserve our sympathy and support

I think its more likely the other way round, players can walk after a period of non payment.

One ray of light is the situation cant go on for much longer, something has got to give in the next week or so. The last thing im worried about is how much Ken will make out of any deal.

Does anyone think the takeover mite be done tommorow keep my fingers crossed it can’t go on much longer

Is that you Ken???

And so to bed. I'm going to re-read a bit of Big Sam's autobiography. Now Sam obviously knew a thing or two about managing professional football players but his ideas on finance were something else. First time I read the book I wondered if I'd gone through the looking glass, so on entering  the library I thought, should I look under Fiction, Biography or Sport?

Found it under Sport.  Sure enough my memory wasn't deceiving me. On  page 126 Sam says that when he arrived at BWFC the Reebok was a £100million stadium and  on page 127 that the club had debts totalling £45million. Heaven only  knows where he got these ideas from or who had provided the £55million difference. Anyway I just want to refresh my memory on how Sam came to the conclusion that the guy who spent £185million on BWFC was a 'ruthless business man'

Perhaps if they all stood around a fire in a bin in a huddle with placards on sticks a stray opposition pass might hit the bin and ricochet into the net?

Looks like the ST are looking at ways of paying the staff
