Thing's To Look Forward To.

Just a bit pissed off now with this season, had a great crack last time we went down though with visiting towns I had not been for a while.

  • Conversely, if we go down, under the same management I'm excited to have another family holiday each year.

We had a shite squad at this level before anyone knew who KA was.

  • Death.  Since Parky will still be in charge next season.

Won’t be a patch on last time, and depending on a takeover we won’t be taking 1000s everywhere

bury & dale being highlights

We're not going down.

Stringing 5 passes together.

looking forward to that.

oh and a striker that drops all of 5 yards to receive a pass to feet. Parkinson hasn’t discovered that tactic yet.

Taking a throw in and not giving it directly to the opposition.

Oh and not allowing the opposition to take a throw in as if it’s a free play.

looking forward to all of the above

New owner with some money a manager who as a plan b and players who can play football on and winning some games .

And not having everyone back for a corner, even though we are losing 3-0 at home?

and still concede a free header

Wish you were right, sadly I think you might have been drinking heavily.

I'm a glass half full man. OINO

Just want to go to a game knowing we will have a go and that whatever the result we have given it our best.  Too much to ask ??

I will be enthusiastic for next season, whatever the division, if PP and KA have gone. If they are still here, I'm not taking part in the season, I want them to fail and I certainly won't be cheering on their anti football.

Reasons to be cheerful part three.

Summer, Buddy Holly, the working folly, good golly miss molly and boats.

Hammersmith Palais, the Bolshoi ballet, jump back in the alley and nanny goats.

18 wheeler scammels, Domenecker camels, all other mammals plus equal votes.

Seeing Piccadilly, Fanny Smith and Willy, being rather silly and porridge oats.

The juice of the carrot, the smile of the parrot, a little drop of claret, anything that rocks.

Elvis and Scotty, days when I aint spotty, sitting on the potty and curing smallpox.

If mansfield and lincoln come up from div 2 its two local away games for me at old school football grounds .

I quite like Mansfield Town , they have an Ian Greaves stand and Neil whatmore used to find the back of the net regularly for them .

Ticket allocation might be fairly small though .

I remember playing Mansfield Town in the late 80s , I think they went down to 9 men . Jeff Chandler may have been in his second spell with us and was involved in getting their players sent off . The locals really got behind the stags and Chandler was the pantomime villain.  Happy days

Typo

Remember them ending our long unbeaten run, with (Phil Neal) in charge. Twenty odd games iirc.

Thrashed us about four nowt, though we didn't play badly, and we gave the players a big ovation afterwards.

That was a million miles away from where we are now.

Except for the getting thrashed four nowt part

Went to that, it was a Tuesday night game, lost 4-0. I'd forgotten it was possible to get thrashed in Div 3 and not even be angry with the team. Nobody questioned team selection, formations or substitutions then, the team was the team so we supported them, I can't remember anyone complaining about line ups.
