OK I'm going to say its not quite all over, 4 of the next 5 are "winnable" so for me we have to beat millwall and Ipswich and either sheff wed or Wigan. It won't happen, but I've not quite reached the

Re read my directions. 8.00 now.  I'd  rather get there an hour too soon than ten minutes too late.

That was my mantra throughout my work life.

If you got there an hour too soon did you just start the fire yourself to get it over with?

Bought tickets today; 200 sold so far.

9 hours on a train - been there, done that - not this time thankyou

I travelled back from a Conference at Swansea Uni on a train with Bill Slater (last amateur to play in an FA Cup Final, later as a pro captain of Wolves 1960 winning team, etc). All he wanted to talk about was his 9 year-old daughter and her gymnastics. She's been director of Sport at BBC for a decade or so now, which makes me feel old. The train is certainly slow at the best of times. And this isn't.

Lowe suspended for this and millwall after 10th yellow card against Leeds.  He had been in 9 for the previous 5 games.  Surely good game management would have been to get booked so that he missed Norwich and Leeds and then be able to play in 2 games with more of a chance of getting something ??

or is that too intelligent.

Too intelligent or back to front?

Driving - Wrexham and turn left through mid Wales or stick to M6?

Edit - M6 significantly longer but not significantly shorter according to WAZE.

Take the A49. Despite slider's reservations, some lovely places en route, in Shropshire and Wales. Find one with a good pub and stay there.

BYOH

Shocking isn't it? Just 31 runners spread across 7 races.
Take the first two races out and you've 17 in 5 races.

I'm only going tomorrow, because (a) it's a work thing and (b) I'm on a freebie in the Mallard Suite

As part of the A49 sightseeing, there are a number of unidentified black marks on the road. They are the crusty remnants of my withered soul.

I know how you feel. I managed just nine months in sales driving around the north of England. Hated it.

Life behind the wheel of a car for hours on end- truly awful.

I would - Chester, Wrexham, Builth Wells and through The Brecons. You come into Swansea from the North rather than the M4 which I prefer - always go that way to Swansea from Manc on business. It's also a much nicer route and can't be certain but iirc the ground is on the North side of the city??

I'm with Spider - hate the A49 - it's a shit road

Long journey. Takes pretty much 5 hours but I do it midweek so may be quicker on a saturday

Superfan points for this one given the shite flying about.

Good luck boys.

Trainers are running a boycott of ARC meetings until they up the prize money. Tight fuckers (ARC); are blaming reduced revenue from FOB Machines for reduced prizes. Trainers are making some races go ahead by declaring only one runner at some ARC meetings, enabling a 'walkover'. The share of the sole runners winnings being donated to the injured jockey's fund.

Got an image of us turning up tomorrow like a Sunday league team in the back of a double glazing van all with mismatched socks on and a massive communal tub of water.

Cracking butchers in builth wells. It was their produce that my lad had as a little un on a bbq. Nowt special about that in a way, but because of a series of illnesses, it was the first time he'd eaten a piece of meat without it being in breadcrumbs!

Always sticks in my mind.

Yeah, I know a little bit about the strike.

A few more runners tomorrow for quite a bit more money.
