I remember back then thinking they could have the kids singing that with just Grandma's feet in view on her rocking chair. Then at the end the camera pans back - and we see just why, quite literally,  'There's No-one Quite Like Grandma'. Three heads and an elephant's trunk on the middle one. It’s terrible and if anything shows the state of how things are different these days, it’s the fact so many videos of the fire are circulating rather than getting the fuck out . 
 

from what I’ve read the bar seemed a death trap , one way out , flammable ceiling etc , surprised at that if it’s true in this day and age .

I'm sure most of us did ridiculously stupid shit when we were in our teens/early-20's - especially when we were pickled off our nuts at a party. We were all just fortunate enough that it never happened in a highly flammable box full of other pickled people with sparklers.

I agree fire and things on fire fascinate people/ attract attention, but the first thing I’m doing in a room that’s on fire is getting out, not getting my phone out and filming it. 
I think that’s generational. 
I think for example, if that room was full of w’wayers there wouldn’t be any videos.
