How much does someone like that Charlie earn from these videos? He always seems to knock up a few hundred Thousand views in a few days.

Assuming the other comments are correct, then it seems he was asking for trouble. 

You can give someone a crack though in self defence if you believe you're in danger.

just ran some basic numbers based on his subscribers, number of videos and length of each

maybe around 6k-12k - some videos "only" get 50k, quite lot under 100k, but a good few 300k-700k

his videos are long so plenty opportunities for ads

a lot depends on the niche and where his viewers are when it comes to ad revenue

but he'll be doing alright out of it

Meant to to say, that's 6-12k a month overall across his whole channel not per video
