Tranmere are different though. Hated them through my childhood and still hate them now.

By far our biggest bogey team. Play offs, league cup semi, 100 points etc. 

Fuckin wankers the lot of em who hate us probably more than Wigan and bury combined.

It's time for a bit of REALISM Mounts, this is far from ideal but it is what it is! When you finally come back from Spain & get back in the bubble you'll remember those Shite collapsing days of the 80's. You can choose, like then, to get behind the troubles we are having or live in la la land of previous expectations & call it a day!

Realism? The reality is that it cant go on like this. There is no way such an inexperienced team can go on like this until the end of the season.This 100% effort stuff wont last beyond the end of this month. Injuries already kickng in who is next up Junior Whites ? You are literally talking about 0-6 and worse every game! Its simply not fair on the young lads and makes a mockery of the integrity of the competition .

If the takeover doesnt go through this week its Barzini or bust.

I disagree. Kids are being asked to do a job some of them aren’t, and some of them will never, be able to do. It’s about safety to an extent, but there are other issues too.

I don't think the kids are any more at risk than any professional player providing the ref does his job and these kids have been playing 90 minutes for years so IMO the duty of care argument is bollocks. And if we pick up a few injuries - as is normal - a) they're likely to mend a lot faster than older players anyway and b) we have a load more kids that will be gagging to step up and get bummed every week.

As for "it can't go on because the fans can't take losing every week" ...a) it might/will probably have to and b) what fans are going to stay away when there's always the possibility that they might actually win one day?

They're certainly on the steepest learning curve imaginable, they're costing the club f*** all, they're giving the fans something to be positive about in the grimmest of times, they're attracting new younger fans to support BWFC and we may end up with a decent team in League 2. Personally, in the absence of money, I can't think of a better way of rebuilding our broken club.

If we do end up signing new players I only hope they're kids with promise who have the same desire to play and grow rather than the mercenary has-beens looking for a final payday we will probably be able to afford.

Utter madness? Maybe, but it's low-risk, low-cost madness with a huge potential upside.

I reckon Jake Turner and Luca Connell are sick as parrots right now.

Men against boys after the first half hour but another great effort by the kids.....& great support again with nearly everyone staying to applaud them even after a 0-5.

I don't get the throwing in the towel stuff......as long as we're putting a team on the pitch, even as hard as it's getting, we live to fight another day.
