The 4-1 following season Tuesday after we thought we'd blown promotion at Wigan (took 5k there btw) helped.

3876 on for that 7-2 game and 3266 for the 84 post semi final game. Only time I did Burnden was 93. 6829 rattled around that day.

Weren't you the lad who took expection when I quoted some of Wolves shite crowds in the 1980s? Different era, they were scared of the hooliganism you said

2,367 on Molineux for the 1985/86 Wolves v Plymouth league match according to this.

I went the Wigan v Plymouth game that day, the whites were away at Derby, Plymouth fans took Springfield Park over with a crowd of 9485 on.

Shilton was your player manager then? Dalton scored a worldy for you iirc

1500 for an away fa cup 1st round tie, miles away, is bloody good!

No crowd control at all. Only went in home end as the grass bank away end was a quagmire when we got there.

Not sure what the MIB is on. I have mentioned us outnumbering Cardiff at Ninian Park in 86 with less than 4k on

Been a few random Argyle games in the past, my first visit at Home Park was in 74 V Cambridge, been a few times since. I remember talking to a bloke in the Manchester Rd stand whose son was playing that day for the Pilgrims in the 3-1 win in 85, i heard a few years later that player had passed away at a young age.

Steve Cooper? Tall blonde forward. Ex gymnast / trampolinist who leapt like a salmon but usually nowhere near the ball. Died of a brain bleed.

If you insist on bringing Man Utd into the chat is the 9,000 that Exeter took to Old Trafford in 2005 the biggest ever Devon away following in the North West?

Chris Eagles started that match for the home side and was substituted by Ronaldo

Yes, it was Steve Cooper.

Never seen the wanderers there, but I did see Plymouth 6 Leeds 3, which was nice.

Nope, we took more to Anfield and more to Citeh in 87. Also hold record for highest away following at the Emirates.

I wish people would stop engaging with our resident franchise fan

Impact sub!

At this point it may be worth pointing out that the record crowd there is for a cup semi between Wolves and Grimsby.
