What a roller coaster at the end. I sort of has a feeling we would miss that penalty but pure joy with that late winner! Shout outs to Luke Murphy who continues his rehabilitation in my eyes, Verlinden who came on and changed the game and another solid performance from Chickson. Also credit to Daryl Murphy who kept going after the pen miss.

Aye, I've always been results over performance but it really was awful

And our crossing when we did put something together...dreadful

Anyway, I've forgotten about it now

Got away with one there but 3 points are 3 points.

Formation didn't work, tactics didn't work, didn't understand the substitution, they went down to 10 and if you didn't know you would never have realised.

Brilliant ending though and as my lad said "Football's shit until it isn't and then there's nothing like it".

Spot on.

For me, Verlinden's best performance for us, we've seen him torment full backs before but this time there was end product with him putting the ball into dangerous areas.

No problems with any of L Murphy, Lowe or Bridcutt's efforts but they're very similar type players and we were crying out for  a creative Crawford type player to open the defence up....the same problem we've had for a while.

& MK were a nasty, niggling set of tits, & their handful of fans seemed to be tossers as well. I hope they go down.

To be honest

Itd be ace to somehow survive, but for now I’m getting way more out of watching the utter joy on my lads face when we win games, and now he has a 93rd minute winner to add to that growing mountain of BWFC memories that can never be taken away from him.

That today is every bit as good as getting a draw at home to a Tottenham or an Everton.

It was better - Tottenham and Everton are dog shit

Strange game but the kind of game where we would have lost in years gone by.

Crossing and corners were shite

never seen a player run off after being sent off, reckon he had a brass on double time in the hotel.

Penalty was shite. Left footers scare me at pens.
Keith had a yellow hat and trainers combo, not good.

The MK Directors seated behind me were extremely pleased and delighted with there Goalkeepers penalty save, cue much clapping and cheering. I’m happy to report that I completely lost it after our last minute goal and they didn’t appear to appreciate my reaction. I really must calm down or risk a ban from that section.....still buzzing.

Drive home on M62 ... outbursts of cheering and singing along to Rocking All Over The World (youngest was on DJ duty). Memories of dancing with BB in WSL !!! COYFWM

Bollocks to 'em, after all the shit we've had to endure over the past few years, we deserve to go bat=shit crazy when we win a game.

Well said.  I know exactly what you mean.  Just to be able to associate watching Bolton with joy and celebration again is a breath of fresh air.

In fairness, their goalie made 4 or 5 good saves including the penalty ( that wasn’t as bad as I first thought). They were doing their level best not to lose, so the win was the main thing.

enjoy the night, another win and the juggernaut moves on to accy

The corners by Emmanuel were as good as any in recent times, well worth him nackering himself running 50 yards every time we got one.  Murphy's corners v Fleetwood and his regualarly overhit crosses, now that's bad.  Murphy played the best he's ever played in a home game, but God his crossing is awful (set up for goal was a pass, and a great one).

Watch the pen again, not shite at all, hit with pace and accuracy to the bottom corner, great save.  Far worse penalties find their way into the net coz the keeper goes the wrong way or hardly dives.  Check out Madine for a bad pen technique.

is there a worse team to play against 10 men than Bolton Wanderers?

only time we’ve looked like taking teams apart when the opponents have 10 men was when hierro was running the show.

every other time it feels like we have 1 less.

Corners were set up wrong then, because all the attackers were at the back and they were curled in, if all attackers go to the back, corners should be driven in with someone picking up the knock down or rebound.

Pen wasn’t in the corner, below mid height and not much pace, keeper guesses right and he saves it, keeper guesses right and it’s in the corner with pace he doesn’t and from a left footer they always give a tell to a keeper more than a right footer. It was poor, thought he played well and his run for the goaL was excellent.

Murphy’s cross for the goal was spot on but thought him and Lowe were poor today against a poor mk  dons

For me you play only one of Lowe or Bridcutt.
