Wimbledon H

Another relegation haunted team on the horizon, should be a home banker.

3-1 home win.

Me too.  Puzzling how anyone couldnt see that Darcy has what it takes.  Great set piece delivery, great energy, can see a pass, and breaks from midfield.  He could be what Vela was meant to be.  Despi

A few gripes after today, though few of them about individual players or the team generally. Unless Verlinden wasn't fit to do more than half a game why leave him on bench? As last time at home w

If we're in Div 2 next season I doubt there will be a match with less quality than yesterday.  Bring on the next home game v Southend, that promises to be even worse.

Sunday League players pass to players, not to empty spaces where no other team mate is within chasing distance.

And was it Dodo who calmly allowed the ball to go out... for a Wimbledon throw.

Yeh i noticed that. He clearly thought it came off one of their players last - the ref didn't quite see it that way!

Nor did I. The ball looked as though it hadn't come within about 6' from a Wimbledon player. That's why I was annoyed as hell that he was better placed than me to make the call.

He was obviously confused given we were given a corner that blatantly wasn't.

Things need to improve in my opinion. Is Hill another fraud or are we putting it down to circumstance again?

Saturday was absolutely shite, scraping a draw at the end against a side who were non league until recently

Underwhelmed with Hill so far personally

FV out as well and get SCA back in.

no one said that.

Hill may be able to do no wrong in some eyes but hes got a lot to prove imo. Starting sharpish

Didnt take long. Just what did you expect with a team of freebies and loans no one else wanted? And 3 of the best if these imho out injured.

Some of our fans are totally unrealistic and tbh i struggle with their attitude

its not totally unrealistic to want to see an improvement over time.

I can see both sides.

Hill's having to work with what he could drag in at the last minute, but we don't seem to be getting any better. Ignore Rotherham, as the players hadn't even met other properly before that game, but we don't actually look any better now than we did against Oxford & Sunderland almost three months ago.

Very poor v AFC Wimbledon, Accy, MK Dons & Plymouth in the last month.

Injuries aren't helping, of course but we're certainly not improving tactically.

Time? No but given cicumstances its hardly been any time at all really. I dont think we can expect immediate improvements. Need a settled side with better players before that will happen

Agree with this. Oxford performance was impressive. Unfortunately, the injuries we have I think are dictating a different approach, which isn't great on the eye but is pragmatic.

Once we get a few back we should (hopefully) start to see an improvement.

Bristol rovers must be thinking how did we get beat of these men

Yeah suppose the injury list has grown since then

its certainly taking its toll, even at the other end of the game take Bournemouths depleted team through injuries can’t buy a win

Crawford is a huge miss, quality at this level

It was Emannuel.  Obviously that was a mistake but I like him.  Miles better than I expected when I saw him looking lost at Rotherham.  One of our better players that I'd want to secure for next season because we wont get any better and he seems to have the right attitude.

In hills defence, bridcutt gets in most teams in the league

Crawford in plenty

What is harder to accept is the shite defending for their second on saturday

Emanuel does have the right attitude, with athleticism and he is good going forward. The problem he does have he is not a defender and is not aware what is going on around him. He will get better and needs a good CB who can read the game to direct him.

Generally with the injuries the defence is presently very poor and that's why we are conceding so many soft goals

Hill has had a raw deal so far. Injuries, sanctions etc. We are still counting the cost of sweaty ken.

If he keeps us up he is better than all of the managers combined in the last 12  years combined (not hard I’ll grant you)

Could be a massive turning point in our future this season!

Nothing explains why we cant defend better than we did for their second

Ridulous challenge by graham, then leave one of the best finishers in the league to have not one, but two, free hits at goal

It was awful

If we are losing creativity, we have to defend better

I nearly posted something similar!

Him running the channels and wide men playing it to feet was quite novel!
