Everyday I hear folk moaning about traffic jams, chaos on the railways with cancelled trains, and buses not turning up.I must admit, with a choice of routes with a trip to and from Manchester, it's a fucking nightmare for the 10 mile trip these days.

I always thought wimmin could hold it in when wanting a piss, but with the transport structure up here with all the delays, get off here i told her and empty your bladder, only four camera's watching you on CCTV at this location, she'd finished pissing by the time I got my camera in focus.

I see Northern Trains are expecting cancellations tomorrow due to unprecedented levels of sickness....

By all accounts northern rail have exceeded themselves in a new level of shithousery today

Suspect it'll be mentioned after the cat stuck in a tree in surbiton

They even said they would yesterday. Levels of sickness apparently. You'd think they'd offer any off duty staff extra leave for coming in while on leave.

Stood at the bus stop about three bus stops away from the main Bus Station in Leigh for 15 mins, 694 comes in the opposite direction, i shout to the bus driver, I'm going for a piss in the spoons, don't leave me when you turn round. Luckily the bogs in the Spoons in Leigh are on the same level and not like taking a trek to another town about a mile away. 1 min later he wizzed round the corner and picked me up.

Couldn't your bird have flagged him down mid piss? 😊

TfL took over various lines in London and it worked out well. Could be a wise decision.

To be fair, if that happened then they’d only be giving in to the pressure from Burnham and Rotherham (Steve, not United).

Oh, for fuck's sake. Voting Tory in an election a couple of weeks ago makes me responsible for the failing of Northern as a railway franchisee? Good stuff!

Cheers Micky, you must know in your part of Lancs, a train what eventually turns up at Bolton heading to Manc is run by Northern, the company is falling apart at the seams and folk want this to carry on.

Northern is shite but they hold the franchise. As soon as Burnham rattles a few cages in Whitehall I imagine they'll be fucked off.

Northern is a massive train company, it stretches all over the NW and NE, we seem to get the shitty end of the stick over this end. Give us a franchise for the NW and I will be happy to see a timetabled service.

Once you give a private company running the railways in a region the customers are looking for them to spend money on new rolling stock and enough staff members to run the network while the franchisees are looking to make as much profit as possible which means the customer's wishes go unheeded.
Northern seem to be frugal than others, actually buying up the rest of the country's trains as they are replaced by new.
