If the Fonz was so cool why did he hang around in the bogs..?

Why was he mates with wanksocks like Ritchie, Pottsy and Ralph-Malph..?

Why did he lodge with The Cunningham family..?

He also wore black dress shoes with jeans.

He was a twat.

At the time, he was the man.

Thats like saying Henry VIII wasn’t cool because he wore an orange tunic and tights.

And black slip ons from Jonny Balls (St. Andrew’s Court) with a pair of Talib’s best stonewash is still considered a staple look around the mean streets of G/L so cast your derision elsewhere.

Tommy Balls. Johnny was his brother who fucked about with dolls and saw stuff through round, square or arched windows.

Henry VIII wasn't cool.

He was the o.g. neckbeard.

That's why he couldn't have a kid, he'd used up his bucket and a half wanking over tapestries and parchments by eighteen.

Go back and check your history, man. Henry VIII was THE MAN until his weeping leg ulcer and subsequent weight gain.

After QEII and Sweyn Forkbeard, old gingerbollocks was our bestest monarch.

Real history only starts with The Enlightenment...

Everything else is irrelevant - and don't say 'Magna Carta', ask that hair salon m0ng how relevant it is today.

Anyhow, you say he did, I say he didn't.

He had two and one dead 'un.

He was a jaffa - fact.

Too many stuffed swan burgers - the fat chewatt, rendered him not potent in any way, shape or form.

Best King was the Nazi one who fucked it off for that Jewish bird.

Just had the opportunity to complete a BBC survey.

Sort of covered this in part of my response.

Too much, and has been all the way through.

It gets very Scouse at times.

Captain Tom did great things, and is a top bloke who represents what's best about Britain.

But, we are in danger of turning it from a dignified celebration to an "I'm more upset than you" competition.

Yep.

Anyway-authorities looking at doing something to commemorate him, so what do folk think?

At the end of all this, perhaps an extra bank holiday, but one during which folk are asked to spend the time doing some sort of voluntary work for the betterment of society. Maybe picking shit up, helping a gipper, or torching a pikey's caravan.

Aye mate.

Totally over the top.

All sincerity gets lost when it turns like this.

Fully appreciate the bloke and the figures he helped raise were astonishing but theres folk crying for a state funeral ffs.

Mintues silence in Parliament and clapping on the street? Give over.

Torching a Pikey's Caravan 😂😂😂

Kinell, they even dug up his appearance on blankety blank.

Hanging around outside his house this morning to present the news of his death.

Give his family some space for fucks sake.

nice thought, but it'd just be another day on the piss, we could do with a bank holiday around the end of June I reckon - make sure that it's in school holidays though, so that teachers don't benefit from it and end up with an extra day off

It's a bit like remembrance groups that are springing up everywhere. I'm not having a go here because I fully support the notion that we should remember those who fought on our behalf.

But it's almost becoming a dick swinging contest about who does it best.

The Royal Legion tend to have it nailed but seem to have had to up its game in recent years to make sure they get the donations rather than anyone else.

Again, I know people mean well, but it gets a bit too competitive at times.

Miami has it right on Twitter (and I'll thank him now for it ☺️) with his daily reminders of fallen troops.

Keep it in the limelight, but just chuck a fiver at the Royal Legion in October. We're a dignified country, let's keep it that way.
