Aww, mate you are on a proper fishing trip, mate.

Mate.

Bozo seemed to suggest therell be no change to the jcvi order for vaccine

Which is good

Sticking to age so the focus is on getting over 50s done

That way, at risk teachers and cops (those over 50) will get seen to with the other old uns

I think he said that covers 98% of the ones who have got DED

Bolty comes in for some bad press on here from certain circles. Anyone who knows him or has met him knows he's just a normal decent geezer - always up for a laugh + BWFC to the core. He's maybe a bit "Old Skool" for some on here, but if we were all the same life would be boring.

We know that, he gets taken the piss out of at times because he sets himself up for a fall. It happens to everyone.

You probably mean me

i always got along with Bolty and much of what is exchanged is banter and tongue in cheek.

Thats all it will ever be

Its up to him if he’s calling it a day but I think that would be daft.

We ALL get some right shit off others at times on here. It’s how you deal with it.

He certainly does and I'm not sure why, always puts a decent argument across and I tend to agree with him.

I honestly think a bit of jealousy comes into it, let’s face it Bolty lives the life that most people would absolutely love, but very few actually achieve. Good luck to him i say.

Where’s Toms?

I’d sooner he was around

But that wont suddenly make some of his views ok.

But here’s the real heart of the matter: it’s ok not to agree with someone on everything. Doesn’t make you a cunt.

Was the target 13 or 15 million?

13.2

13.2, which looks like being hit.

I’d guess this guy isn’t a fan of the Tories.

No one can realistically argue that the roll out has been anything other than a glowing success.

So far so good.

I’d like us to accelerate from here.

If the vaccine is available, I don’t see why not. Maybe up it to 750k a day and have 40 million done by end of March. Surely that would be enough to move Ilya all to Tier one? All about the NHS which would be able to cope

😂 he gets crap because he he talks crap a lot of the time and rightly gets pulled up on it.

Calling gay people sodomites, the balloning, the references to people as 'it', the nonsense about people shutting off his right to 'say what he wants', the fishing trips to disguise stupid posts, then there's the blocking of people who upset his little worldview.

I don't deny at heart he's a decent bloke, and we've had many a kind word on here over the years - donated when I ran the Manchester half as well. He isnt a bad bloke at all, but we all get some form of pisstaking on here but this is why he gets a bit of grief.

As for jealously, Australia would be a long way down on places I'd like to visit, nevermind live. Quite happy doing something I love in the place I love for the time being.

Well he was browsing the site at 2am so it seems a personal choice not to post.

Like I say, it's a shame.

I don't even think it's a Brexit thing. The Trump seems to have caused the most hurt.

He may view certain things as a defeat and be licking wounds, but it's a football forum full of fatties, thickies, narccisists, weirdoes, dandies, tramps, diabetics, pisscans, and angry cranks.

Such a broad church needs all it's congregation to attend or it becomes a cult.

A statue of @tomskinow you're talking, there should be one of them. I know Biggleswade Town Council are considering putting one up, and there is talk of a blue plaque on the Biggleswade Swan marking the time when @DazBob and Tomski visited and danced the night away in a Pikeys Karaoke party

Vaccinations going really well. At some point we’re going to have to switch  our attention to giving everyone their second jab. I’m not sure they would risk giving 40m people their first jab and hope that we then have 40m jabs available for second jabs within the 12 week window. At some point the number of people getting their first jab is going to drop at bit as more jabs are used for second doses.

I've heard a few people saying 15M, I'm not sure where that's come from, as BD says, it's always been 13.2M as far as I'm aware  -  anyway, the good news is that we're getting there, which ever number it is. I suppose the main thing to realise is that the majoroty of those are only the first jab, so we may see a slow down when the overlap between first and second jabs starts to happen in a few weeks.

I suspect they won't do much with regards to the easing of restrictions until most of that 13.2M have had their second dose, which will be towards the end of April

Think numbers are down to rounding, the commitment was to do the top groups

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/health-55045639

This comes in at just over 14m, but the numbers could easily be a few thousand either way. The numbers we see are people vaccinated as far as I know, if a small % are refusing the number offered will be higher. TBF to the Govt they have always said the target is to offer to all the top groups. Picking at the vaccine rollout is daft , it is going exceptionally well.

All being well, the difference from 13.2m to 15m is only 3 days anyway.

For this Govt to get within 3 days of a target has to be seen as success. The roll-out is going tremendously well.
