That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

And come October itll be lockdowns cos its cold

Nah

Vaccine looks like it's what we all wanted.

I'd just be passing laws now that say anyone not having it because they saw a video on facebook should be thrown in the sea or have their passports & driving licenses taken off them and credit scores moved to zero.

Then thrown in the sea.

Shhhh Micky, you know Charles turned up on the 46 bus on his own 🤔

They must be very confident in the vaccine.

That all seems a bit quick to me.

It'll be a contingent roadmap. Contigent upon the vaccine doing it's job and no new variants fuckin us all up.

True, let's have a minutes applause for Andrew & make him ambassador for UNICEF.

I'm pretty confident.

The real issue in the short term is people getting too giddy which is why another month off everything closed seems fair. We've come this far.

I can nearly taste my teatime pint on April 2nd

We have vaccines for flu

Folk still die

I'm convinced there's science bods with influence who won't be happy til we have no deaths from corona

If the pub reopens

April 2nd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you been drinking today?

The foreign holidays bit still seems a bit far fetched to me though.

Other countries need to get a wriggle on with vaccines.

Can’t see a date being put on foreign holidays myself

No. I'm standing outside a pub drinking :-)

God, I hope so.

Ha. Indeed. Saw a thing about Harry and how he's no longer a 'working' royal.

Which made me piss.

You’re brighter than that mate

That roadmap seems reasonable to be fair, if it's combined with lockdown being extended until early April and the vaccine rate staying steady or increasing.

Looking good for our promotion party at Crawley😀

can i ask what's a outside pub

a pub with a beer garden

so you can stand outside and have a pint

Not

I think at one point it was looking unlikely there'd be anything this summer.

And imagine the demand.

Better than nowt.

Oh yes, there's demand, but not enough supply. We can't sell loads of holidays if there aren't loads to sell.

All depends on the willingness of countries to allow us in.
Personally I don't see any difference between now and pre-Christmas. Valid PCR before travel. Isolation or retest on return.

Covid-19: Boris Johnson to unveil 'cautious' plan to lift England's lockdown

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56148160

From 8 March - All schools will open with outdoor after-school sports and activities allowed. Recreation in a public space - such as a park - will be allowed between two people, meaning they would be allowed to sit down for a coffee, drink or picnic

From 29 March - Outdoor gatherings of either six people or two households will be allowed. It is understood this will include gatherings in private gardens. Outdoor sports facilities such as tennis or basketball courts will reopen and organised adult and children's sport, such as grassroots football, will also return

These 4 stages.

Going to be 5 weeks between each one.

Thats 20 weeks to full lift.

Or, Mid-July.

They aren’t rushing.

and if the kids going back to school causes a spike, then everything will get shoved back even further. I'm expecting a load of drama queens to be outraged later when Boris gives his speech, with such glib statements as "This isn't living, it's just existing" , "The people are on the edge, won't stand for it" and my personal recent favourite "I think I'd rather be dead than have to live under these restrictions"

I hope the teachers can cope with a couple of weeks in school, before their two weeks holiday at easter.
