That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

So it won't be possible that any of his entourage could possibly spread the virus? Whether that be taking it in or bringing it out? They won't have families that it could be spread to/by? That could pass it on to us mere plebs? Not to mention the fact he's travelled 200 miles to get there!

If it applies to us it should apply to them, end of, I despair, I really do!

The legislation does allow people to visit ill relative in hospital so he isn't breaking the law. The unfairness is that different hospitals adopt different policies.

I'll nip in & see Phil myself then 😉

Schools have to go back on the 8th.

Everything else will stay locked down.

For me, it’s no longer an option to have kids learning at home.

Infections will rise a bit for sure, but it’s the one risk we must take.

Its not like the pubs are opening on the 8th, we’re still massively restricted

Schools need to go back on the 8th. Engagement is dropping and kids are now at serious risk both mentally and academically.

Right, but they're opening for 2 weeks then closing again for another 2 for Easter. Not the best timing

2 weeks is better than the current set up

It’s actually quite clever. Same as if you’re off work long term they try and bring you back phased almost part time. This gives the kids two weeks to get back let off the energy and mischief that’s been building up and see there mates again etc.

and then Easter and then heads down for the rest of the academic year hopefully. I do believe that summer holidays should be cut short this year for them though personally but teachers are contractually due them so it won’t happen

Quite.

Captain Tom's family were with him for his last days.

There won't have been an entourage going to see Phil the Greek neither. Just his son.

And presumably his son’s bodyguards and Greek Phil’s bodyguard.

Numbers are going to rise after March 8th.

Folk just need to not shit their pants when they do.

Hospitalisations are what matters

Do you have a note from your nurse or doctor which proves this claim?

Doubt it. Not on a ward/in his room.

Maybe at strategic points elsewhere.

It's probably a bit late in the day to start bemoaning royal privilege

Teachers will kick off

When did we move on from the aim being not to break the NHS?

It looks like they still have this aim of reducing deaths at all costs

I don't believe it

They must be very confident in the vaccine.

That all seems a bit quick to me.

@Traf may be smiling hopefully :-)

I think at one point it was looking unlikely there'd be anything this summer.

And imagine the demand.

Better than nowt.
