That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

I've actually phoned in sick today, first time in 5 years, I have been up since 2.00am with a raging headache, temperature, physically sick and I just want to cut my arm off, fucking horrible

Imagine how bad covid could be then. Paracetemol, fluids and sleep. You'll be reet in a day or 2👍

Feel your suffering, brother.

It affects the better specimens amongst us worse than others.

Youll be ready for a drink tomorrow though.

That was quick 10th May in Bromley for the 1st, sometime in July in Lewisham for the second. All very easy.

Aye I was rough as shit for a couple of days following my first jab.

Next door had the Rona in Jan can still hear her coughing her lungs out through the walls every few days.

Exactly, the vaccine has floored me, I'd hate to get COVID proper

Not looking forward to it now - all my family have been jabbed and everyone sailed through. Knowing my luck it'll kick my arse.

I'm guessing you've had 2 Pfizer ones?

Second time is supposed to be worse.

Opposite with AZ, where first oz supposed to be worse.

Yes, 2 Pfizer

Had the first AZ one and felt like shite for a couple of days, took about a week to get appetite back fully

Bizarrely I haven't felt like any alcohol since and that was a month ago!

Did read that a bad reaction to it can be due to having had COVID already, but if that was the case I didn't know about it

I’ve also had 2xPfizer with no adverse effect with either save for a slightly sore arm at the point of the needle insertion.

Lad I work with was also 2xPfizer and couldn’t move for 24 hours following both.

I guess it’s different strokes for different folks.

I had my first jab last week (AZ) and apart from a splitting headache that night and a bit of a dead arm for three days, I've been reet. The missus had no side effects at all apart from a bit of a sore arm.

I couldn't stop eating after mine, ramming anything and everything in for two days solid and then had a day of barely being able to keep awake, no soreness or owt else though.

New cases/Deaths in the UK haven't really changed much for the last 3 weeks.

Reduced nicely?

Cases down by 50% or so through April

deaths down by 2/3rds or so

2685 new cases today and 17 deaths, fairly similar to 3 weeks ago April 6 which had 2379 new cases and 20 deaths.

The footage of open crematoriums and funeral pyres in India is grim

I was looking at the 7 day rolling averages

Oh ok, i was just comparing Apr 6th (3 weeks ago), to Apr 27th.

Numbers are very encouraging.

Looks like no variants have worked through.

Vaccine programme going well.

Looking good for June.

Just a few more weeks. No hardship.

Radio 5 on Sunday saying they believe the actual numbers per day are about 10x what’s being recorded

10x!
