That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

You say that as if they ever had any in your eyes? They could personally make a vaccine in number ten and save the world and you would trawl out the usual tripe with the Magnificent seven

I’m on about to the public at large.

Any control over the message is totally, totally out of their hands now. Imagine them trying to invoke a second lockdown due to a spike in a month or two's time? Not a fucking hope in hell.

Open everything, restart everything, full whack, and leave it up to the individual whether they take advantage of it or not.

You need to remember this is what they were going to do at the outset. Herd immunity.

Would it be something of an inadvertent master stroke if all this left them with no choice but to do it as the people have decided that’s what they are doing. And they can open up the economy and save a lot of money in the process?

just a thought

I’m in Bolton this week as it happens. I was always coming down before any of this blew up. Down for 5 days Tuesday to Sunday staying with my mum. Again allowed under the rules. Me and the missus having time apart. All above board.

if anyone wants any haggis or Scottish beers bringing down please let me know 👍🏼

There’s a coincidence. I’m in Edinburgh, Tuesday to Friday. Some lass has packed her mental bloke off to his mam’s, heavily laden with haggis and Scottish beer. 😀

And anybody thinking this is going away is clearly puddled

By going away you mean what exactly? People moaning on social media and the newspapers and news going on and on? Not sure that’s going to have much impact really.

other than that I can’t see what anybody thinks is actually going to happen here because nothing is

Good luck with that one she’s away to her mams for her “space too”.  Nobody needs to know we’re both going. But you are welcome to her  😉

indeed. They have wrecked any phased lockdown plans they were going to implement. People will do what they want now.

Yeh right, I'm going to break into a hospital and get myself infected: why the fuck shouldn't I? Hopefully I will die, that will teach them.

Unless they’ve kept back actual proof of him flirting up and down the M1.

If I was Chief of Police in Durham, I’d be ‘accidentally’ releasing ANPR records after being called a lying bastard.

In which case that would sink him. If in fact such records would show that.

Screechers will be confused about what to screech about; schools or Cummings

I never had you down as one of the reactionaries, BD.

The 'ooh! aren't we right-wing' lot...

He's a snake (Cummings).

Reminds me of Mandelson.

In more ways than one, him even having a wife and kid surprised me.

I think if they had numerous records of him going back and forth they would have no choice.

Ive not been watching it or reading about it but is it not that Downing Street are saying lair of it is bollocks? He went once and stayed in? As opposed to back and forth and out for walks by the river and stuff? Which Janice from facebook is adamant he did as Doris from the hairdressers, her cousins best  mate saw him?

Seems quite clear to me...

Can I leave my home if I'm self-isolating?

If you or someone you live with has symptoms of coronavirus:

  • do not leave your home for any reason – if you need food or medicine, order it online or by phone, or ask someone to deliver it to your home
