Anyway, here is a picture from Tory HQ as they all enjoy a post-Twitter cuddle.

Am i sticking up for him (Cummings) ? ..No

Am i puting my opinion and argument across... yes because that is what a forum is for, or it was the last time i looked.

Am i changing my opinion because some on here dont agree, ...am i fuck!

Do some on here agree with it... yes/no,

I know im doing pretty well when i get a couple of 'fuck offs' at the end 😄

You won't get a fuck off from me, but as you say it's your opinion versus others opinions. Plenty of Brexiteers AND Conservative lovers are saying he did wrong and needs to go. You might not be sticking up for him, but it still has fuck all to do with Brexit just because plenty of people criticizing him are Remainers. The whole moral attitude has changed over the years. It seems plenty of people are happy to accept lies, corruption and affairs by our Leaders as being normal. Plenty of MPs in the past have had to resign for having affairs etc. Now it's OK for the PM to get one of his lovers pregnant whilst still married, and it's even celebrated. I think you have to have some accountability in those positions and actually be someone to be looked up to, but it's more like a TV Show at the moment. Look at the state of Gove the other month. He could hardly stand up. He was either pissed or coked up. Why on earth should anybody listen to anything these people say anymore ?

My mistake. He is not "on" the Committee. He just attends all the meetings and gives his input to them.

Does he attend all of the meetings?

I doubt it, but it is on record from people in these meetings that he attended the ones to do with Covid-19, which is what is being discussed here.

I’ve no issue with normal folk who are outraged, just shithouses like blackford who clearly would stamp on Cummins head if he could, and why,  because he enabled a Tory majority.

So people should be outraged. Good.

I think we can all agree on the credibility of our so-called politicians.

Why are you telling me 🙄

Because it's a Forum and things are to be discussed on Forums. I am just giving my opinion why things have got to this state, and my opinion is there is no accountability anymore for Politicians and people just accept it. They are there to serve us, the electorate. To do that correctly, they have to follow the rules they expect us to follow.

You‘ll get better than 2/5 now. William Hill have him at 5/6 to still be in his role on 1 June. They have him at 5/6 to be gone by end of May.

It was possible to get 4/1 on him staying at one stage last night.

I still think he'll cling on. If it can be proven that he didn't stay at his family's home in Durham, though, that's a different matter.

Then you might be more precise if you are trying to make points based on facts?

Again i dont think anyone, including myself is disputing that, but your last post sounded like an anti-tory rant than about politicians of all parties.

Didn’t it just.

And a moral crusade about Boris?

Absolutely mad this. If he'd apologised and resigned yesterday morning, this would all have blown over and he could've quietly been brought back in a few months time. And Grant Shapps would've been able to wax lyrical about the A66.

Instead more than half the cabinet (plus the Attorney General) have had to trash their credibility, treat the public like idiots and piss a load of people off who would never have given a fuck. For what?

This.

Good to see this place is living upto expectations and fails to disappoint

just need mick back with his unique brand of melancholy and the usual suspects are complete and in full flow 😴

Just noticed page 666 of this thread was dedicated to Cummings.

Has anyone every been to Durham? It’s fucking miles from London... You’d need piss stops, fuel, risking giving it to someone who is working. All to take a kid from a Covid household to elderly people. Fuck off.

I haven’t read the story in detail, but did they hand the kid to his elderly parents?

I'm always more drawn to the crotch as I expect it gets somewhat neglected in such cases.

Bang on.

I couldn’t give a fuck which political side he’s on.

The blokes acted the cunt. It’s his own people that are trying to make it political and us versus them.

What in shites name has Brexit got to do with it?

Aye, Brexit, faux outrage, screeching etc

It's just misdirection from folk who blindly backed the tories throughout the Brexit mess and now the Corona virus

It's all fucking shambles

Google's been spying and they'll be recommendations galore for steam irons to get the wrinkles out of many caps...

People now just use "Screeching / Screechers" as a term for anybody that they disagree with, it's only come about since the Brexit debate

Correct. And you can count on one hand the posters who love  those words.
