June 10, 20206 yr Simple question, will you be wanting a refund on your season ticket? I won't for one I want my money to stay in the club, anybody else feel the same?
June 10, 20206 yr Anyone asking for a refund should take a good look at themselves. We could all afford to pay for a season ticket at the outset so could clearly afford it so gift the club the money
June 10, 20206 yr Of course not. I've probably saved enough to pay for next seasons simply by not going getting plastered at the home games we've missed. Each to their own, but I'd say most can and will let this go.

I won't be asking for anything back, but don't begrudge anyone who does.
June 10, 20206 yr Definitely not, the club needs the money more than i do. As long as i have enough cash to order beer online i'll be reet.
June 10, 20206 yr Having said that, I hope that the £200 I'm out of pocket is spent wisely by Jason Lowe (Or whichever player, on nuch more than I earn, ends up with it)

June 10, 20206 yr When are the club going to announce what will happen with season tickets for next season? I'll pay for mine as usual but i presume we will get access to ifollow? Edited June 10, 20206 yr by Norpig
June 10, 20206 yr I am on the mailing list of Shrewsbury Town ( once did corporate there ) and have just received an email which addresses how they are proposing to deal with this , and I hope BWFC will follow suit . They recognise that some supporters are currently in financial difficulty with unemployment and the lockdown and totally understand that some supporters will need to ask for a refund . To assist them they have asked those that wish to claim a refund to do so within the next 2 weeks . They reckon it will cost them £150k were all supporters to claim the refund , and want to deal with it straight away so they can quickly assess where they as a club stand financially. They say they are overwhelmed by the number of supporters contacting the club telling the club they do not want a refund , and in recognition of this are creating a "Wall of Fame " to be placed at one corner of the stadium into which the individual names of all supporters who dont take a refund will be inscribed. The club want to show their appreciation and recognise the loyalty of those supporters in a fitting way. Thought it was a nice touch.
June 10, 20206 yr nah, not arsed, I missed loads of games anyway Sunderland fans not happy that their board said, before yesterday, there would be no refunds no matter what https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/an-utter-disgrace-sunderland-fan-18361169

June 10, 20206 yr Others have more of your money than you. add in Mrs and kids, no wonder you're skint
June 10, 20206 yr I'm not looking for any refund, I would pay for next seasons now. We need the club in the best shape possible.
June 10, 20206 yr Benny's story is a nice one- I would suggest though that Sharon keeps the money for the important stuff and doesn't waste it on a wall of fame. I'd be happy enough with a complimentary meat and potato growler.
June 10, 20206 yr They can have it. I earlier asked about refunds via credit card and if the club wouldn't suffer but was told it would charge back to the club. Just in case anyone was thinking of going down that route.
