It's that match v Darlington (5/11/86?). What it would have looked like if everyone who claims to have been there, really was.

I’d have suspected the last game tbh but I guess that depends on whether it’s sunlight or floodlights on half the crowd. Certainly only the last couple of seasons with the lack of the segregation area

No

Fwiw this was from the same post so guess it's from the same game

Given there's what appears to be cops between terrace and embankment, and lots of white shirts on the embankment, would guess Preston 93

In which case it’s far earlier than I thought and probably Preston 92/93. But personally I can’t see where the red fence would be on the previous picture which is why I’m going for post-95.

I miss that place. I've spent more time watching us in Horwich than I ever did watching us at Burnden. Mad!

The eyes look like Elton Welsby.

The clothes look like Docker Bill, fag-end picker-upper of Horwich.

It was taken by a photographer named Peter Robinson and it's from the last ever match

10/15 but what did you reckon is the right answer for 14? I put The Dell based on very little skyline in the background so figured it was by the sea.

That's 15. The one I got wrong was the 1974 world cup pic
