Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 25, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted February 25, 2021 Really could do with openers starting an innings off well. At least they're scrapping. Is there a problem with the wicket.
Guest
Avoided the innings defeat Apart from as many as possible, how many do we need? 150 would make it an interesting game.
Moderators Casino Posted February 25, 2021 Moderators Share Posted February 25, 2021 I dont think I'd ever be confident with the potential of their batting line up But if we get 230, then I'd put us in front We will struggle to get 100 on, imo They then win by 8 wickets or 2 wickets. Break this stand quickly and have a genuine chance of winning. India get 300 and it’s over.

Roger_Dubuis
That last half hour has been fantastic from the Indians, they have been battering Stokes and Anderson all over the ground
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 5, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted March 5, 2021 Bowlers; only 2 pace men in that heat. Anyway, good effort from England, such is the nature of a low scoring game that one big partnership/innings can seal the deal.
Site Supporter desperado Posted March 5, 2021 Site Supporter Share Posted March 5, 2021 I actually thought the game changer was the not out decision on Pants LBW. I know we have to trust the technology but that was out every day of the week. But after that fair play to Pant, he’s some batter. We are really up against it now. We need to do something we haven’t done for 5 innings on the trot, bat well and put some partnerships together.
