They aren't happy with vald telling them what they could and couldn't do, before invading another country.

Could be very useful actually. Potentially siting defensive anti- ballistic missile defenses away from large centres of population in countries all along Russia border could help shield everyone from attack.

Strangely I was reading about this earlier this evening. 

Russian tanks notorious for have poorly protected ammunition and when hit by nlaws etc they go off big style, blowing the turrets well off.

this is an interesting read showing that it was far behind russian lines

 

 

Finland joining NATO is a real crossroads for Putin.

He can play it to his people that NATO are basically ganging up on him now.

If the losses being suffered are as bad as they seem, he may choose to ignore it and focus on Ukraine.

This will genuinely test just how metal he is.

An article I read claimed he's going for cancer treatment and appointing one of his henchmen to run the country in the meantime. Supposedly another extreme one.

The underground tunnels are no deep and extensive, I'm not sure those munitions will have much of an effect.

True. What was that spreading out, looked like phosphorus or similar?

At the Hibs game today, the match ball was presented by a dozen or so kids effectively smuggled out of Dnipro. Some dust blowing about (annoyingly can’t find the link for the full video).

Thought cluster munitions at first as they seemed to explode on contact. But they also seemed to fall slowly, so you may be right.

 

Other businesses who have been hit hard by this conflict are your charity shops. Love a good pootal round a charity shop and now there's nothing in them, everything is being donated to the Ukraine. 

Did pick up some nice retro crockery though this weekend.
