Its appeasement, that's all it is, and more people will end up dying in the longer term if you essentially capitulate to agressors. These aren't peace deals in the slightest.

  • We’ve reached a point where folk are so entrenched in their support for trump that they’ll side with Putin if it means not losing face on the socials. Thats where we are now. its ok

  • That Vance is a bigger cunt than Trump

Twice in a few days someone has mentioned me in a discussion I wasn't involved in, then incorrectly assumed my position on something. You're obsessed mate.

Not sure why you've editted Gonzo's post to make him sound like a spaz though.

Sorry I hurt your feelings 2 weeks ago. Why did you edit Gonzo's post?

You talk utter rot at times.

Trump is enabling a dictator who invaded another country. Why is a "deal" already being blamed on the one who was invaded and why aren't they invited?

I do agree that the best result would be a demilitarised zone but fuck knows how that is achieved.

Long overdue elections are down to the country being invaded and at war, it's in their constitution FFS.

Two super-powers with massive resources need to get talking one to one.

If pointing out the reality of a situation whether it is right or wrong is talking rot, so be it.

Should be interesting...

Is Russia still a "super-power" it has a GDP smaller than Italy. Although maybe the fact it has a load of nuclears and major resources, will always mean it's classed as one, irrespective of economy.

Russia isn't a superpower, it is on its knees economically. It has nukes but so does loads of others now.

The US is of course a superpower but is headed up by a bloke who wears his wife's makeup (nowt wrong with that if it floats your boat) and has no idea how to do diplomacy.

Russia is having to get slave labour imported from N Korea as well as using their utter crap ammunitions.

If we actually sanctioned Russia properly we could rid them of Putin and his regime from within and allow Ukraine peace.

Fair point, but occupying 11% of the global land mass makes it pretty "super" in my view, only Canada with 6% comes anywhere near

If we got rid of Putin there would be a massive power vacuum... do we really want to see Russia fragment as we have seen in the Middle East?

Notice you're not calling for "overdue democratic elections" in Russia?

I didn't edit Gonzo's post, I quoted it in full

Trump said he’d end the war months ago.

He hasn’t.

I suspect this will end with Russia getting all the land they’ve invaded and trump claiming victory.

Not sure we’d see it the same way if Spain invaded Gibraltar and Trump just told us to accept it whilst declaring to the world that he deserves a Nobel peace prize.

Of course, he may tell Putin to withdraw, return the captured land and for both sides to stop the killing. If he does that and it happens, i’ll have his face tattooed onto mine.

I think they have them... pretty one sided though, involving intercepting Ryanair planes and nerve agents.

I'm not calling for anything, just speculating what the two gangsters come up with

You've obviously gone down some deep internet rabbit holes if you think the Russian government is more democratic than Ukraine's. 🤦‍♂️

This with big bells on.

BBC report today, with a couple of North Koreans who have escaped Russia.

Turns out Kim the kunt is sending over people to help Russian building programmes.

The money Russia pays them is essentially peanuts, and it gets sent to North Korea, for the authorities there.

These guys had escaped after essentially being used as slaves, and were now in South Korea. They didn't show their faces for obvious reasons.

Whatever Trump manages to achieve, and it is highly unlikely that all land will be returned, then it has to have caveats that clearly say to Putin- kick off again and you get twatted.

I don't do internet rabbit holes... I leave it to the likes of yourself and others.

If you care to read what I said you will note I never made such an observation.

You really need to be more factual rather than sling one line dispersions around

Russia’s economy is the size of Spain’s

Edit. Sweep beat me to it.

Truth is Russia is a basket case. But a basket case with nukes and a ruthless dictator in charge

Edited by mickbrown

Last time they met, Trump shat himself when a Putin revealed what dirt they had on the gobshit.

I imagine more of the same this time round

Russia has never been a superpower

Russia is nothing like the middle east.

It isn't, but there are a number of areas that would be happy to get away.

Daft thing is, some of that desire will be as a result of the likes of Putin and his murderous regime.

Who knows, if he was fucked off, and they actually got a proper fella in charge, with peaceful intent and a desire to work for the benefit of his people, then maybe these places wouldn't want to break away.

In answer to his question- well, yes why not have those regions going it alone?

It would seem a rational thing to want to do under the circumstances.

If america had chosen to invade ukraine, I think it’s almost certain that the whole lot would be under American control by now.

Modern warfare means they are simply not close.

Russia have nukes though. And millions of conscripts they can throw at a frontline. That keeps them relevant.

Putin has Trump in his pocket. The only realistic outcome here is trump conceding the Donbass and eastern lands to Russia, on Zelensky’s behalf. Trump can control Zelensky but Putin has the Epstein files so trump is fucked.

Putin will win. Trump will say he’s the man of peace and his docile supporters will swallow like they do the other gallons of cum he shoots down their throats.

I used to think the same but I actually think Trump just would just love to be like Putin. He wants admiration over his people.

Putin and Trump are fellow gangsters... Putin has been in position for 25 years (?) and seen lots of western leaders come and go

Things are on a knife edge for Ukraine at the moment. I don't trust Putin or Trump tbh.

I know you don't think much of Zelensky but he could have hightailed it out of there at the start but he didn't. He's had numerous attempts to kill him and his family since, kudos for that.

I just hope Trump starts playing hardball with Putin now he has got NATO countries paying what they should.  This is probably the only issue I agree with the orange one about but he is absolutely right.

Trumps just glad it’s stopped people discussing his disgusting perversions
