Make a retaliation... at this point no, a few drones have gone astray (supposedly)

Putin knows NATO is much stronger but also knows it would be substantially weaker without the US. We must big it up, but also, have some sort of diplomatic  dialogue.

This is indeed the risk.

Some suggestions that those in waiting could be worse.

Needs a reset from within, by the people outside the large population centres, that are more greatly impacted by the war.

Mentioned support from the EU and NATO but not direct US backing, it's been an expensive war of attrition to date which, if it continues this way can only be won with US support. 

Maybe he knows something more about the Russian economy?

Maybe he can get Putin to start talking with his bravado?

Trump has been on one the last few days but you can't deny how hard the Ukrainians have fought and the Russian supply lines will be stretched.

I hypothesised at the outset that Putin dreams of driving in a motorcade through Kyiv like Hitler in Paris...I believe he is a devout Russian Ortodox and Kiev is the seat of orthodoxy from over 1,000 years ago... dangerous thing religion, especially with old tyrants

Trump has gone batshit again. Probably to take the narrative off the Epstein stuff for a bit as much as anything.
