Maybe he phoned you or inboxed you to tell you that he wasn’t watching it all day, I wasn’t privy to that info. But reading his post he gave that impression to me. Then tried having a dig at the usuals who “wouldn’t bat an eyelid” yes probably because they’re not grief junkies 😉👍

For the record not looked at it all day, but yes, might have a quick scroll now, assuming that’s ok with RW 🙄. I find it helps me both to stop blindly supporting Israel and recognise that the majority of Palestinians are normal folk the same as me, just wanting food to eat, a roof over their heads and education and healthcare for their kids.

I don’t normally go in for name calling - preferably leave that to folks like Bolty and yourself who excel in this. But if I am a self-confessed grief junkie then got me thinking about you and how you body swerve questions each and every time when challenged about what’s going on in Gaza.  This is the best I can do - I know it’s not in your league though. No more from me today - too busy reading and watching the BBC feed 😘

As for you Bertie, my main point throughout all of this is when people on here and in society in general, keep coming out and saying “they can’t shoot at that building there’s kids in there”, or you can’t shoot at that camP it’s full of families. Sorry but that’s not how it works. If you have got one bad guy in there who is a threat to either you or your colleagues then they’re going to get taken out. It’s likely, especially in this environment that many innocents will catch it up. This has happened in nearly all  conflicts in modern times

Believe it or not I can agree with some of this - it’s the reality of war (which from what I understand you’ll know a lot more about than me - respect is due). Where we differ I think though is the threshold at which this “collateral” tips over into being something unacceptable, and just as bad if not worse than the original crime.  For me (as you know) this happened months ago.  I was just wondering (in a post a couple of pages back) whether you had a line in the sand after which you would think things would have gone too far?

As we all agree since the dawn of time there is no easy answer - but this isn’t right.
