Ethnic cleansing in the West Bank; kidnapping Palestinians with no right to a trial; denying people the right to exist in their homeland & blocking aid. Then there’s blowing up aid workers, paramedics and journalists & killing women & children collecting aid. If that’s not savagery then I’ve no idea what is.

 None of which was necessary to ‘treat a cancer’ & a lot of it was happening before Hamas attacked. Two sides escalated this, not just one. Israel’s defence secretary quit before Oct 7th, claiming Israel’s actions were going up escalate things.

I see Hamas in exactly the same way you do 👍 We know they’re savages.

Difference is that I also see a cancer sitting in amongst the Israeli cabinet & the IDF. And the accountability systems that used to rein them in no longer exist.

Israeli leaders & settlers speak about Palestine in exactly the same way as that fella though. And they have destroyed far more villages, lives and taken more land than Hamas have.

 Israel use Hamas as an excuse to destroy & displace. They’ve demolished entire areas & civilian infrastructure in Gaza with no connections to them. I think they’re happier with Hamas saying this kind of stuff, as it only gives them more excuses to act in the same way.

Really don't understand how they could actually do it- one insider said they don't have enough soldiers.

I can't see anything in the article that says the final part of the process is to let an Arab force then take over running of the place, once Hamas has been removed. That is reportedly the the final part of the process.

Whether it would actually happen is an entirely different question.

They're on an impossible mission to sell this on the international stage.
