Just need Hamas now to do the right thing and agree to go into oblivion.  Hope whoever has influence on them can get them to see sense (for the sake of the Palestinians and Israelis). Not holding my breath just yet though….

Cautiously optimistic would be the words I’d go for. If Hamas accept. If they don’t, I think the proposal falls short, as it allows Israel to simply crack on with their war crimes. I think we both hope it is accepted🤞👍 But the idea that a rejection means innocent Palestinians can still be butchered doesn’t sit right. 

Calling Trump a ‘peacemaker’ after supporting Israel’s campaign of state terror is a bit daft though.

 Part of the plan should also include the removal certain extremists in the Israeli cabinet & trials in the international courts. Justice for one set of criminals, but not those on the other is a questionable peace process. But maybe with time, evidence & a different US government, we’ll see some Israeli’s in court. 

And I didn’t see much about the West Bank in the plan. Surely a forced halting of all new settlements & settler violence has to be included ? 
 

It’s pleasing that it looks like the Trump/Israeli plan to remove Palestinians from Gaza (with no right to return ) has changed. But again, I don’t think Trump deserves the credit for that. Huge pressure from the gulf states & Europe has led to that. I think if Israel & Trump could have done it they would have.

 Hope that clarifies my feelings on it all pal.

 We’re a long way off “whadaguy”…. I’m not sure he’ll ever reach that status 😄

The conflict has been going for over a century. Even with periods of peace. Conflicts lasting longer have been solved before.
