I purposely stay out of these chats on here, don't come on here for arguments 😁 but was at a do last night for a mate of mine raising funds for the humanitarian aids explained on the link. 

She is going back over to Palestine for the second time to teach kids and generally be an amazing human helping people over there. 

I've thought hard about putting this on here but after last night, seeing her so passionate about it, I've come to the conclusion that the worst that can happen is that you all ignore me 😁

Just been listening to Starmer and his posturing on a 'Palestinian State'.

What do these fools think they will achieve? They will achieve a situation where the words 'Palestinian State' remain just that - words.

I suspect that Israel will now redouble its annexation efforts and ensure that there isn't one any time soon.

I think the term is 'shooting yourself in the foot'.

Recognising a nations homeland and a right to exist is not a crime. This isn’t rewarding Hamas. Instead it will weaken Hamas’ support and it’s reason for being. Israel know this but instead are fixated on land grabbing and ethnic cleansing. I’m pleased this has irritated them.  Coexist. Please.

I don't think we've changed our stance regarding the 2 states, didn't Cameron and Sunak propose the same alongside the Germans?

This is never-ending, Israel used to support Hamas when it suited them as they were the alternative to the 2 state supporting PLO.

It’s amazing what you can grow out there. Bit of a myth to say it’s useless. A lot of produce is imported from Israel. Would be the same from Palestine if Israel didn’t control & limit their economy. 
 
Climate change will make it harder though. 
 

It’s never ending yes. But century old conflicts have been resolved before. A two state solution isn’t a magic bullet, but it’s the only way.
