Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

The northern Irish chose to starve themselves 😉

You’re missing one large massive big point here. Aston Villa / Birmingham  is not part of Palestine and is in no part involved in the war.

England played Northern Ireland (the actual country the troubles were with) numerous times at the height of the troubles 70s and 80s only a few times were England fans stopped from travelling. And again with the republic apart from the one obvious kick off there were numerous games both here and there.

A large army presence helps keep things calm.

I'm not talking about Aston Villa vs Birmingham City because it's completely irrelevant.

And the troubles weren't confined to NI. They were in Great Britain too...... London, Birmingham, Brighton, Manchester for example. They were also in the ROI (Dublin, Monaghan). There were even bases in Germany targeted.

Anyway - I can't be arsed arguing the toss with you all night mate. I doubt we'll see eye to eye on this one - even if we clog the thread up for the remainder of the evening 😁

If you regularly go around behaving like racist thugs, then it’s going to raise safety concerns. And the more you do it, the more people will complain when they know you’re coming to their town.

It really isn’t that hard to grasp.

We really don’t need a whataboutery deep dive into all the games during the Troubles 😂

🤦🏻🤦🏻 yet we still managed to play games, also the troubles over there aren’t confined to Palestine. Isreal (weirdly enough) has been bombed as well.

Let it sink in, a team from Isreal can’t have their fans travel over to watch their team play a team from England because of a war in Palestine resulting in “safety concerns” over here. it’s an embarrassment.

Again you keep bringing up “racist thugs” are normal thugs ok? Is it acceptable to attack folk for other reasons? When England fans attacked Germans did you scream racist then or were they just thugs?

England only played once in the Republic in the 70s and 80s. That's not numerous times.

The large army presence in Belfast would have also kept things calmer than they would've been otherwise.

Don't try moving the goalposts after yet another of your stupid posts is picked apart.

You’re probably best off reading it again. The country where the troubles were….Northern Ireland……witnessed numerous game. There were numerous games both home and abroad. More than one. Oh and the army didn’t have any more powers than the police so fuck knows what that waffle is all about 😂

You said England fans weren't stopped from travelling to the North and the Republic for the numerous fixtures.

We played in the Republic once.

There was a large army presence in the North. Whilst they don't have and more 'powers' than the police they certainly gave off a different vibe and one that meant you're less likely to cause trouble.

Go on, now try and move the goalposts again you simpleton.

I clearly said “only a few times they were stopped from travelling”

“There were numerous games both here and there” if I meant just there then I would have said that.

The ones likely to cause trouble were the republicans, they spent decades rioting with the army, do you Honeslty think that would have stopped them 😂😂😂 fkin daft nonce

I presume that's why Palestine Action were banned then, leading to hundreds of arrests 🤔

I don't think it is. Going around attacking Arabs in Amsterdam is an embarrassment. Woe betide if someone got stabbed (or worse).

And like you've already mentioned - England fans were banned a couple of times from travelling to away games to NI. So there's a precedent (that I didn't even realise until you pointed it out).

Anyway - like I said, we'll not agree on it. As I've mentioned before - I'm ambivalent about it really. I just can't see why there's such an outcry about it tbh. And find the anti-Semitic arguments silly.

To be fair mate, England fans were never stopped from travelling during that time. Many were discouraged and soldiers not were not allowed to attend one particular game at the height of the Troubles in 1975

Yeah but whatabout Palestine action...

Whatabout the Troubles...

Whatabout England vs Germany...

Good to see the facts are coming out after the initial antisemitism screeching.

No, because the only emaciated folk they could photograph had congenital diseases. Ask all of the fat Palestinians filmed celebrating the 'ceasefire'.

Has Tommy Robinson not bought all the tickets for the away end anyway?

He’ll be there, half and half Israel/palestine scarf on, bucket shaking for his next grift.
