any spare oasis tickets about yet?

I'd save your money. Be a mix of these cunts, and knobheads coked up to their eyeballs pretending they're Liam. Or maybe you'll be one of those, in which case, enjoy.

I'll be one of those

NIN tonight, in town for a meeting and then a photocall so I'm going to be the only industrial goth metal head in a suit. Probably.

got a double header going on next weekend

Sparks on Saturday at the Apollo

Iron Maiden on Sunday at the Co-op - manged to get a standing ticket today, £109 mind but never seen them and this is a greatest hits set, so it's now or never

Same for me- never seen Maiden and as they're playing stuff from their earlier albums I jumped on this one. Should be class.

My Mrs won't miss a chance to see them - she also thinks it'll be one of their last tours. Set list from Dublin looked marginally better than Manchester I thought.

Got 2 Bright Eyes tickets for Albert Hall Manchester on Saturday going if anyone wants em. Got them before Pulp at co-op got announced.

Just back from Prague watching Springsteen.

Great Concert, Superb City, Awful Venue.

Highlight was daughter getting a hug from The Boss during Hungry Heart.

Not sure who was most excited, her, or the wife.

Went to see Paul Carrack at Blackpool Opera House last night, 74 years old and still a brilliant voice, with a band of mostly old guys who made being top class look a doddle.

Great and varied back catalogue of songs spanning 5 decades, including Mike and the Mechanics, Squeeze, The Eagles and lots of his own stuff.

just had a look, I would say it's much better because of Right Where It Belongs, Mr. Self Destruct, Closer, I'm Afraid of Americans & The Hand That Feeds

glad I didn't go to Manc now as knowing that Dublin had the better set would've pissed me off

Seems as though they don't like Manchester - they did the same in 2022.

Been listening to each set list and the Dublin one is also better paced. Although it doesn't have That's What I Get or The Perfect Drug

Did Anfield a couple of weeks ago but in mid hospitality for my mum's 60th. Belting do.

I am also at Pulp on Saturday

I'd have done Pulp had I not already got Sparks booked in

that said

not feeling the new album yet

Given it a few plays and it's growing on me, but I seem to be able to sing Acrylic Afternoons over almost all the songs.

saw Pulp at Castlefield and have serious FOMO now

It's really good this - they really know how to do an arena show

I've a mate who is an obsessive Pulp fan she and her husband (who isn't sure if he actually likes pulp or has just got musical Stockholm syndrome) are at every UK show hours before doors open so she can get right up the front. Her fella will be delighted at the easy trip home.

I am doing Pulp. Kim Deal the other night was exceptional.

Really looking forward to Pulp. Was impressed by the venue the other week for Morrissey.

Iron Maiden for this greb on Sunday 🤘
