June 18, 20251 yr NIN tonight, in town for a meeting and then a photocall so I'm going to be the only industrial goth metal head in a suit. Probably.

Set list from Dublin looked marginally better than Manchester I thought.
June 18, 20251 yr Got 2 Bright Eyes tickets for Albert Hall Manchester on Saturday going if anyone wants em. Got them before Pulp at co-op got announced.
June 18, 20251 yr Just back from Prague watching Springsteen. Great Concert, Superb City, Awful Venue. Highlight was daughter getting a hug from The Boss during Hungry Heart. Not sure who was most excited, her, or the wife.
June 18, 20251 yr Went to see Paul Carrack at Blackpool Opera House last night, 74 years old and still a brilliant voice, with a band of mostly old guys who made being top class look a doddle. Great and varied back catalogue of songs spanning 5 decades, including Mike and the Mechanics, Squeeze, The Eagles and lots of his own stuff.

Been listening to each set list and the Dublin one is also better paced. Although it doesn't have That's What I Get or The Perfect Drug

June 18, 20251 yr I've a mate who is an obsessive Pulp fan she and her husband (who isn't sure if he actually likes pulp or has just got musical Stockholm syndrome) are at every UK show hours before doors open so she can get right up the front. Her fella will be delighted at the easy trip home.
June 19, 20251 yr Really looking forward to Pulp. Was impressed by the venue the other week for Morrissey.
