Out of interest when was the Shed Seven gig ? ( asking for a friend)

It was Birmingham NEC in 1997 I think, definitely Birmingham though.

Edited by ErnestTurnip
Just googled, was May 1997

Shed Seven played the cavernous NEC?

Further proof there is no God.

They were very good last night.  I'll definitely be checking more of their stuff out.

And Shed 7 were immense as always.  Club shop for anyone who says otherwise.

They where good! Currently on my Spotify.

Gutted I didn't go... Was tempted to take youngest for a bit of company. Hopefully the cancelled gig goes on resale

I'm glad everyone had a nice time. Now let's drop the whole sorry incident before someone pipes up that they are going watching Northern Uproar.

Folk where giving away tickets outside for nowt.

Bands were on relatively early - so we didn’t catch the Lottery Winners - always disappointing when you’ve been hammering them during the day! Shed Seven didn’t disappoint. Blinder. But couldn’t help but feel it lacked a little magic - maybe cos it was midweek and with the covid cloud hanging over it….. and with it being far from sold out.

I enjoyed it. Nearly cried paying £4.90 for a can of red stripe tipped into a plastic cup though 🙄

Shed Seven always a good sing a long gig

On Standby always the highlight

OK. I HAVE SEEN SHED FUCKING SEVEN SEVERAL TIMES. I DIDN'T LAST NIGHT. I AM ANGRY, I AM NOT SURE IF THIS COMES ACROSS IN THIS POST.

Behave yourself

I suspect you’re fishing but I’m going to rise to the bait

Not only is Nas’s debut illmatic widely and I do mean widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of all time, he’s widely regarded as the greatest MC of all time.

There isn’t a lyricist like Nas, it’s like saying Messi is shit at football, it’s simply not true.

The Rolling Stone magazines 500 greatest albums of all time illmatic is #44

Have Abba or Shed seven got an album higher? Have they fuck

And you were slating Shed 7.

Libertines are a proper Emperors New Clothes band.

Get past Pete Doherty's shenanigans and they're dull shite.

What she doesn't realise is that the tickets haven't actually come yet and guess who's email they are coming to? Anyone fancy a piss up in Manchester in July?🤣

The libertines had a great album, Shed Seven had A Maximum High and a song called Ocean Pie.

Menswear or whatever should reform.

They'd sell out all their gigs.

Shed Seven.

Absolute toss.
