October 15, 20241 yr Learnt his trade on Champ Man. Reckon he signed Joey Beaucamp and Taribo West while sat in his boxer shorts surrounded by wank socks.

October 15, 20241 yr Comments this morning that the FA had made the slightest enquiries over Pep. Dunno if true, nor what the chances are, but, if City get hit with a relegation, then who knows. Maybe the FA need chat in a "smoke filled room" in a dive of a pub with the Premier League..
October 15, 20241 yr The two most successful England managers are Sir Alf and Southgate with Venables and Robson going close. None of these heralded foreign managers we’ve had have done better or even as well so why bother and also forking out a shed load of cash for another to do the same. Surely the England job is the top aspirational job for any English manager so why look to give it to a foreigner to whom it’s just another job?

I'm sure this has been pointed out before, but there has only ever been one manager foreign to the nation he's managing that has won a major international tournament.

Your shout of Carrick and Parker may be part of the reason why😂 Unless it was bantz and I take it back

October 15, 20241 yr I heard earlier the potential stumbling block with Tuchel is the salary. Apparently the England job is only about £4M per year, but a top club job is closer to £9M per year. He's still on "Garden Leave" with Munich, so it may depend if he wants to take the cut out not (it's assumed Munich will be happy to release him to England)
October 15, 20241 yr 2 ideal targets for the FA.. ones just taken a job and the other is in one earning over 3 times more a season the FA usually pay. So when you then look around I’d say he’s the best option. Brings more optimism for me than a carsley, potter or Howe would’ve done
