Hardly the point neither- Sluufy just being Sluffy. As the top man at the club, it was his responsibility to look after staff and ensure they got paid. To suggest he was under no obligation is frankl

You might have read it different but the way I read it was:

- wouldn’t work for Peterborough as they’re more old school and him and ‘Baz’ (Barry Fry) do a lot of the recruiting

- fair play to clubs looking at new ways to do things. Manager buy in will be important

- Sharon is a great owner and will therefore know what she’s doing

- offering shares rather than paying for it is a no brainer

I don’t think there’s anything to be worried about. Just a progressive club looking to do things a bit differently to gain an advantage. It’s cost Sharon a bit of her equity and we need Evatt on board with it, which he 100% will be if they’ve made the decision.

Assume poster meant agreeing with Darragh was the concerning bit. Or that’s my take on his worry ha

I also read it in his accent.

It'll be a first for me to see him be positive about us was what I was referring to.

I can't work out if it's genuine praise or a subtle attempt at causing a bit of friction within the club

He’s got an opinion on everything. Loves the sound of his own voice.

Needs to keep his gob shut a bit more.

According to him Peterboro will win the league as they have the best strikers !!

A perfectly reasonable article.

He may be trying to do a Fergie, and hint that his way is better perhaps, but if that's the case then it's too polite.

They might fancy us as a project

Given he's made his money from gambling, Sharon may not be keen

Sadly I think both took on a project of passion which I don’t think includes us.

I think Sharon won’t give two shits as long as she makes money

I think she would

Yeah, she'd sell to them. She knows it could be good for the club.
She's not taking us beyond mid-table Championship at best.

I hope she makes a fucking fortune when she eventually sells the club. Nothing whatsoever to suggest her limit is mid-table Championship. Her recruitment has been spot on from day one.

Perhaps not in competence, but financially

Sustainable championship is the FV ambition / target

But once we get to that point then no reason we can't push on further

You don't need parachute money to go up, though it helps

Competence is a MASSIVE factor. What financial evidence is there to suggest Football Ventures can fund a mid-table Championship club? Or even a League 1 promotion chaser?

I agree, and that's probably our natural level.

All time PL table has us 19th

For those who like their football pre 1992 we're 13th in the all time table

And that's with us yo-yo-ing from top to bottom

Currently on the way back up

Absolutely no reason to think we won't be back in the top flight within 10 years
