If fans need to provide proof of vaccination to watch a game, then the least the authorities can do is ensure that the players also need to provide the same proof, surely?

I'm a season ticket holder who has paid up front to watch a game that will now be moved from a Saturday (yesterday) to a midweek that I probably won't be able to make, will I get a refund? Of course I won't.

Weather is inavoidable, players catching COVID less so.

The likes of Mr Hart at Bolton should be ensuring everything possible is done to keep his customers happy.

Typically the weather was glorious yesterday.I lost count of the number of people saying "You wouldn't think it's December" because of the mild temperature and blue skies. We've been told by some on here that bad weather was a factor in Bolton losing to Accrington and Fleetwood because it hinders the style of play so the good weather ought to have been to the team's advantage

Ask the Charlton fans who thought the shit weather during our game went in our favour.

Hadn’t really thought of that angle before and, although you have to discount the disparities between the average age of players versus fans, I think that’s not too much to ask.

Moreso, the fact that 25% or more of players aren't vaccinated is contributing to others not being able to go about their business, the clubs will suffer financially in the long run.

Smaller clubs relying on comparatively large (for them) Boxing Day turnouts aren't going to get the same crowds when that game is reaaranged for a midweek in February.

Add in the EFL's indecent haste to end the season in April and you've got other issues ready to stack up.

Let’s not differentiate between watching and playing. For me to ENTER THE GROUND I’m required to provide proof of vaccine. How the hell do the players get in then?

Wait until the announcement that a negative test is no longer an option 😊 it’s coming.

I don't think so personally. At the debate, SJ openly said he was against it.

I reckon they'd introduce a lockdown of sorts first; that way everyone gets blocked, and no devisive measure used.

For him to change his mind, would need really rocketing numbers which would probably more justify a lockdown anyway.

Still, a way to remove the threat would be for folk to get the jab anyway.

I dont care how divisive it would be

Id go fully jabbed AND a negative test and you can play out

The rest, volcano or stay at home

Well there is that!

I'm a bit split to be honest. Not an ideal situation, and it's not "British" perhaps, but if they did, then I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

One thing I would say, is that numbers attending pubs etc have voluntarily dropped off, and I'm not sure that would change that much if extra restrictions came in. I reckon many would still stay away.

I agree. The unvaccinated should be separated from us normals in every possible way. Especially my mother in law

It's coming. 100%

Stevieb's `unclean' corporate season ticket will be getting raffled off on here for anyone who wants it.

I nearly didn't renew this year for this reason.

It's getting potted next year if vax pass is still about by May.

Let’s hope it doesn’t get to that point.

Are you seriously thinking of stopping going to every and any event that involves having proof of vaccine and/or a negative test ? You will be staying in a lot in near future.

I don't agree with vaccine passports.

I'll give Bolton what I can this season because I've already paid but everything else is getting binned.

Taking away the option of a negative test as proof is absolutely mental but I reckon they'll impose it.

There must be lots in life you disagree with but don’t just stop everything in a one-man protest.

Imagine disagreeing with burgundy passports. You wouldn’t have travelled abroad for about 30 years.

I assume you agreed with Bolton’s move to Reebok otherwise you wouldn’t have seen them for 23 years.

Or do you only disagree with stuff where the consequences suit you anyway?

I don’t think the club will remove the negative test this season, in all fairness the argument will be this wasn’t the case on purchase

Which is why somewhere within the terms and conditions of purchase they will have something along the lines of

"BWFC reserves the right to alter any part of this agreement without notice"

Not sure what your argument is.

The straw that broke the camels back for many was megsons shite football

For others it was relegation from the prem.

For me it will be having to prove I've had a medical procedure to enter the ground.

My point is that is not a BWFC rule, restrictions are likely to apply in many areas, are you boycotting them all ? Not saying you should/should not just trying to get my head round stopping going the game because of this, wondering what else is included ?
